Shadow Work – Eclipses
Much of 2019 is asking us to let go of more than we amass. Purging and purifying our systems from the poisons that infiltrate them are a must. At this environmentally, socially, politically precarious moment, every issue we face is more pressing, more daunting, and more complicated. The truths of our situations are multi-faceted and multi-layered. They are personal and political. Collectively, we are coming to consciousness about the abuses of power that we have collectively and individually faced at rates more rapid than ever before. Thanks to social media, conversations that used to take decades to have publicly are now done, seemingly, in an instant. This causes what some experience as division, but the healing process requires us to parse out what the root causes of our pain are. As we collectively unpack the impact of thousands of years of structural inequity, and the traumas and tribulations that result from it, we are faced with the unending task of processing the damage it has done to ourselves and our communities. This process isn’t one that can be sorted through with the same instantaneousness as it is brought up in the digital age. Hearts aren’t timelines. This kind of work takes its own time, but it also takes an unrelenting commitment to the truth and what it calls us to do, and stop doing. The most abhorrent abuses of power are so commonplace that they are hiding in plain site the world, our families, and our lives over. And over. These cycles of abuse must be called out continuously if they are ever to be interrupted, interrogated, and overthrown in our world, and of course, within ourselves. This is a process that calls for much heavy lifting. It takes an incredible effort to bring to light what has laid in the shadows all along. It is necessary work, but so too is the incredible compassion we must have for ourselves along the way.
This year is the first time in many that eclipses will begin to occur in Capricorn. Flanked by Saturn, Pluto, and the south node, these eclipses ask us to release ourselves from the structures, habits, and patterns that keep our systems clogged. Whatever fears have held us captive, stifled our growth, or limited our ability to heal must be made conscious so that they can be dismantled. Unless we want to be energetic hoarders, stockpiling raw sewage of the soul, we are well-served to address, process, and work towards healing the shadow material that these eclipses reveal.
Capricorn is a cardinal, earth sign that manifests, builds structures, and accomplishes through discipline, hard-work, and boundary setting. It’s also a sign that restricts, denies, and withholds. Because eclipses are pattern-setting times, times where we learn lessons specific to the astrology that they highlight, this year’s eclipses will teach us much about our personal integrity, maturity, and self-mastery. If we aren’t responsible for the energy we bring into each situation, we’ll never be the boss of our own lives. With Saturn present and ruling these eclipses, self-mastery is the end goal. With Pluto in the mix, these changes require that we deal with power and the abuses of it. Pluto takes its time but makes sure that the changes it creates are long-lasting in their impact. Occurring at the south node, these eclipses encourage us to release what is in the way of our spiritual growth. Leading us to a greater understanding of the limits of worldly power, south node eclipses point to what needs to be purged if we are ever to overcome the inhibiting impacts of greed.
Capricorn eclipses occur on January 5th (new moon and partial solar eclipse at 15° of Capricorn), July 16th (full moon and partial lunar eclipse at 24° of Capricorn), and December 25th (new moon and annular solar eclipse at 4° of Capricorn) 2019.
There are two eclipses occurring outside of Capricorn’s colosseum in 2019. The first of which happens on January 20th, and is a super moon, full moon and total lunar eclipse. Going out with a bang, this is the last of 5 eclipses in Leo that take place from February 2017 – January 2019. True to Leo form, this dramatic exit helps us to finish up, understand, and integrate the major life-lessons we learned in the area of our chart that contains Leo. This eclipse helps us tap into, and explore, the potency of living out our potential when we allow our unique self-expression to surface and take flight.
The next non-Capricorn eclipse occurs 6-months later, on July 2nd. With this total solar eclipse and new moon in the emotionally charged water sign of Cancer, we are called inward to cultivate a deeper understanding of our emotional intelligence, needs, and nourishment requirements. With the north node also in Cancer, our appetites increase. Cancer feeds the children, rules the stomach, and is ever voracious for emotional intimacy. This is the balance to all the austerity of the eclipses in Capricorn. Capricorn builds the structures, Cancer fills them with the waters of creation.
The Leo eclipse occurs on January 20th (total eclipse, and full moon, super moon at 0° of Leo). The Cancer eclipse occurs on July 2nd (Solar eclipse and new moon occurring at 10° of Cancer).
The Heavy Weights – Saturn and Pluto
With both Saturn and Pluto, the power players of our solar system in Capricorn, the structures of our world that need the greatest transformations could also be the ones that become (or remain) the least open to change. An overemphasis of Saturnian energy, when distorted, promotes regression, repression, and traditionalism. With the rhetoric of fear, exclusion, and domination easily spreadable under these skies, we must work with both our internal and external landscapes in order to implement change. What is poisonous must go through a purging process.
The solution to any external difficulty is, in part, to face the same within the self. It is the place from which we always have access and power. Working to understand, and then disrupt, our internal systems of inequity helps us to do so externally. Getting to know our inner critic well enough to interrupt the self-denial that keeps our souls, and our societies, undernourished is transformation from the inside out. Getting to know our own bitterness, hatred, and despair is one of the most effective ways to heal it internally, and address and interrupt it out in the world.
Since Saturn rules Capricorn, the themes of it are amplified while it transits through its home sign. Pluto brings with it extremes. Birth, death, and transformation are just an appetizer for this Underlord. Catharsis doesn’t come cheap, and Pluto is always willing to point out the price for such a journey.
The Seeker – Jupiter
Jupiter’s entrance and transit through Sagittarius from November 8, 2018 – December 2, 2019 is a markedly different tone from that of the cornucopia of Capricorn happenings. Here, Jupiter seeks to helps us expand our world view, open our options, and magnify the possibilities for all. Running on excess is a theme with this combination, but as previously stated, a large portion of the skies is heavily opposing such behavior.
Jupiter in one if its home signs can help us make huge strides in our life and world, however. What is helpful in doing so is focusing on the area of your chart that contains Sagittarius (written about in your horoscopes below and here). This much needed expansive energy should be worked with wisely. We don’t have endless options in a finite world, but we do have unlimited potential to find solutions to the very real issues we face. Working within the boundaries of our lives helps us access the power of the present, the tools we have, and the wisdom we have gleaned from all our work thus far.
The Game-Changer – Uranus
As Uranus finishes up the last of its transit through Aries (November 2018 to March 2019) and re-enters Taurus, to stay for good until 2026, we are asked to revolutionize how we relate to our resources. Written about below, in your individual horoscopes, and here in a much more in-depth post, Uranus in Taurus shifts the ground we often take for granted as solid and in the process shifts our priorities in regards to what we work towards building.
With so many major planetary transits occurring in earth signs this year, we know that how we work, what we build, what we consider a resource, and what we will end up understanding as essential to our ability to live on this earth, will change greatly as well as teach us the most.
We know that, outside of alternative facts about our climate and environmental conditions, living within the boundaries of the natural world is essential to being allowed to exist here. We are of the earth. We live an d die by its health and well-being. Far from owners of it, if lucky, we will realize our relationship to and dependence on it.
*Your 2019 horoscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. If you know both your rising sign and sun sign, please read both horoscopes. They both contain important information. Aries & Aries Rising
As Saturn, Pluto, the south node and three eclipses activate your 10th house of career, 2019 continues to up the anti in all your public and professional roles. You are being asked to build your resume with what you want to be known for. Consider what it means to take responsibility for doing more of whatever makes you feel boss in the best of ways. Keep developing the structures that are sturdy, and roomy, enough for the transformations you are undertaking. Change is a constant in every aspect of life, but 2019 asks you to let go of what doesn’t work for you in your professional sphere. Like muscle memory, every time you refuse to compare yourself to someone else, or some false “age-appropriate” goal, the more familiar you are accessing and working with your creative energy.
With the first of three eclipses in your 10th house of public and professional roles on January 5th, the beginning of the year is the perfect time to dedicate your energy to identifying, and then committing to outgrow, the fears you have of failure and success. Work with this eclipse to remove your hesitations and encourage yourself to take a leap of faith in your ability to show up and figure out a way forward. Stay focused on the carefully selected professional goals you most wish to accomplish, and let go of the rest. Parsing your professional life down to its core, essential components is key to your success at the moment.
Two weeks later, on January 20th, the total lunar eclipse in Leo activates your 5th house of creative self-expression. This eclipse highlights the healing and work that you have accomplished in this area of your life over the past two years. Creative projects get an important boost of attention and applause.
The north node and this summer’s total solar eclipse increase your appetite for the opposite; a cozy home and connections that feel familial, safe, and nourishing. 2019 asks for balance. Releasing what doesn’t work for you professionally is actually part of what helps you feel more at home. The less you have to fake it to make it, the more energy you’ll have to settle in and show up as yourself.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter expands your opportunity for travel, teaching, researching, and having a wild love-affair with information that inspires you. Watch for books to fall from shelves, long-term plans to roll out with greater ease, and travel pamphlets that catch your eye. It’s not that you want to (or can) take up every adventure on its offer; it’s about remembering that you are never too old, too stuck, or too far gone to begin again.
As Uranus finishes up its transit through your sign (not to return for another 84 years), the first couple of months of 2019 (January to March) mark the end of a very long adventure in personal rebellion. The planet of upheaval and breakthroughs has spent the last 7 years making sure life is anything but predictable. The changes you have made over these years hopefully liberated you from any false notion of needing to fit in or follow a trajectory not made for you. As Uranus (re)enters your 2nd house of assets, resources, and income in March, it continues to awaken you to innovate ways of doing business. Because it stays here until 2026, this is a long process, but one that will continue to help you liberate any outdated notions of how to make a buck or be defined by one.

Taurus & Taurus Rising
On January 5th, the first eclipse of the year activates your 9th house of long-term plans, travel, teaching, and the general philosophy of what guides you. Because Saturn, Pluto, the south node and two more eclipses (in July and December) also take place in this area of your chart, all of 2019 asks you to get better acquainted with the fear stands in the way of moving towards your goals. What phobias divert your energy, dissuading you from making a concerted effort towards reaching you goals? Internal conflicts become more real, tangible, and concrete which is helpful if you want to address them. A nightmare if you want to evade them.
2019 begins with an eclipse on January 5th that encourages you to take responsibility for your dreams, and the learning process you are in when trying to achieve them. Here, you bump into out-dated, possibly conservative, philosophies about achieving happiness and well-being. Learn to interrogate them. Dismantling the beliefs that impede your connection to the truth is essential for each and every eclipse season of 2019. With Uranus entering your sign in March and staying for a solid 7 years, you have less and less attachment to traditionally set out norms. This personal revolution that is taking place inside and outside of you demands a greater honesty from you and, as a result, will bring you a greater connection to yourself. When you are willing to give up anything that rings as false, moving towards what you want happens with much greater ease.
The second eclipse of 2019 is a total lunar eclipse on January 20th that puts the finishing touches on your home decor, living space, and connection to home and family life. Over the past 2 years this area of your life has been under major reconstruction. This eclipse is the last of its kind for a long while, marking your efforts to establish a deeper connection with this part of your life.
The north node and July’s total solar eclipse increases your need to write, teach, and articulate yourself. Any projects that you are in the midst of help you define your understanding of yourself, your work, and your purpose. This eclipse helps you grow your readership, audience, and contacts for future projects.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter expands the possibilities of your collaborations. This transit teaches you much about growth in the right conditions or excessive disappointments in ill-fitting ones. Never deny your intuition when it tells you which is which. Your opportunities for merging your time, energy, and talents with others is increasingly more abundant, but not every situation will be able to grow with you. Never partner out of pity or fear of scarcity, but do join forces with others out of a mutual interest in healing, growth, and creative adventures.

Gemini & Gemini Rising
Much of the astrology of 2019 lands in the areas of your chart that require you to go the deepest. Clearing out old, psychic, and emotional debris will become a past time of yours that you master by 2020.
On January 5th, the first eclipse of the year initiates your 8th house of collaborations and all the emotions that come with sharing your time, energy and talent. What is a fair trade for you comes under great inspection this year. Reviewing the quality of your exchanges reveals the deeper patterns of self-worth, self-acceptance, and self-sabotage that exist within you. What do you give away against your better judgment? What do you refuse that you actually need to learn to receive? Becoming a better listener to your fears can help you to forgo many a bad deal. The more you are able to address your worries and concerns about being betrayed, abandoned, and being taken advantage of, the clearer you can see what is a threat and what wants to treat you right.
The second eclipse of 2019, on January 20th, lights up your 3rd house of communications and daily schedules. This is the last in a series of eclipses here that have helped you to speak your mind, reset the rituals that treat you right, and begin some of the more important communication projects in recent history. You are a communicator, but what these two years have taught you has helped you go deeper than you have before. Risking your reputation to tell the truth sets you free, even if it sets some folks on edge.
Come July 2nd, the total solar eclipse and north node in Cancer continue to give you good reason to get to work. Money, assets, and resources want to find their way to you. The more you nurture, care for them, and use them to create more nourishment in your life, the more effortlessly they flourish. You’re in touch with great earning potential, put it to use in ways that feel soulfully centered for you.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter is busy expanding the possibilities between you and your committed partnerships. Whether in business, love, or both, your unions receive many blessings. Choose your partners with great care, however. Your needs aren’t negotiable. You are more than likely to get a more than normal amount of attention right now and you are allowed to be as precise as necessary in all aspects of your partnering.
As Uranus finishes up its transit through your 11th house of friends, groups, and communities, your work within them continues to be game-changing. The last 7 years have taught you much about the revolutionary nature of being in, and working with the communities that call to you. What you change with and for the group changes within and for you. As Uranus enters your 12th house come March 2019, it shifts focus in a fairly drastic way. Here until 2026, Uranus works to shake up your inner life and relationship to it. Secrets, losses, and old griefs get awakened, but also cleared. The psychic space you clear makes way for incredible creative energy. Don’t rush the work, but do work on trusting its process.

Cancer & Cancer Rising
As Saturn, Pluto, the south node and three eclipses activate your 7th house of committed partnerships, 2019 emphasizes the importance of being crystal clear in your contracts, negotiations, and agreements with others. The first eclipse of the year on January 5th, amplifies these themes. It asks you to look more deeply into the structures of your committed partnerships, why you enter into them, why you stay, and why you might deny yourself what you have, not only the right, but the ability to receive.
It’s hard to find a fit for our emotional, creative, and intellectual needs when we don’t believe that we deserve them. It’s even harder to state our needs if we are too afraid of being abandoned. This year, the more you make your fears of intimacy and abandonment conscious, the more you’ll be able to feel deserving of relationships that honor your boundaries and inspire the best from you. You are worthy of having the kinds of connections you crave. The more self-respect you cultivate, the easier you’ll be able to say good-bye to agreements that don’t offer the same. In 2019, move towards the kinds of partnerships that are roomy enough for transformations and strong enough to hold the experience of them. You can’t expect others to show up for what they are ill-equip to handle. Find the partners that can go the distance and enjoy doing so.
The second eclipse of 2019 comes on January 20th. It is a total lunar eclipse that highlights the dramatic changes you have made to your relationship with your resources, money, assets, and livelihood. Whatever personal potential you have been able to activate and cash in on over the course of the past 2 years is celebrated by this moon. Invest your energetic and financial earnings back into your well-being and financial future.
The north node, and this summer’s total solar eclipse in Cancer, amplify your desires to achieve your personal best. While the eclipses in Capricorn ask you to heal the wounds found in relationships, the Cancer eclipse amplifies your personal drive, power, and ability to get ahead. This concoction can encourage mass consumption over quality, however. Make sure that the things you reach for are soulfully satisfying, not just ego-intoxicating.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter expands the possibilities of your work projects. What you create here is amplified, exaggerated, and given a lift. The work-projects you have on the go now are more than likely to inspire growth in a multitude of directions making over-whelm a monster to contend with. Being discerning about what seeds you plant professionally will make all the difference when harvest season comes calling.
Uranus finishes up its transit through your 10th house of career come March 2019, wrapping up your 7 year professional revolution. The events that have occurred over this time frame most likely took your public and professional roles through many iterations. Whatever you have learned about following your own path and flipping convention the middle-finger will serve you for the rest of your life. As Uranus moves into your 11th house of friends, community, and the hopes and dreams you share with them, your social life feels all the more liberating. Seek those that wake up your rebel heart, yearning for the truth and innovative ways to reach a common goal.

Leo & Leo Rising
The first eclipse of the year, on January 5th, isn’t the only one of its kind. With two more in tow (in July and December) the themes of it resound throughout the entirety of 2019. Joined by Saturn, Pluto, and the south node, these eclipses speak to the importance of knowing which of your work projects to build with and which to bury. Composting what isn’t working creates more fuel for future endeavors. Not everything that is a good idea is good for this moment. Knowing when to work on each inspiration that comes will save you precious time and energy. Reserve the right to quarantine your time for what takes precedent. The more you master your work schedule, the less you’ll feel at the whim of it.
The second eclipse of 2019, on January 20th, is as true to form as they come. The last in Leo for years to come, the total lunar eclipse will be a dramatic spectacle that demands attention. This eclipse highlights the major personal growth that you have undergone over the past two years. Your life might not be unrecognizable, but it might be all the more resonant with you. Whatever you were able to allow yourself more of, multiplied. Use this full moon and last of the Leo eclipses, to give yourself the gift of radical self-acceptance. You are brilliant either way, but the more of yourself you bring into all you do, the more pleasure you’ll experience while doing it. That pleasure is the starting point for so much more of the same.
The total solar eclipse in July helps you heal a hurt that you haven’t been able to fully grasp thus far. Like ghosts, our sorrows are often felt, yet invisible. Until we have reason to seek them out we rarely are able to console their cries. The more tender you can be with your healing process the more easily it will unfold. Nourish in you what has gone without care for too long.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter expands the possibilities of your creative hopes, dreams, and projects. Make more room in your heart, home, and life for your creative potential than you have. Holding space for creative abundance while developing the courage to fail and succeed in your most personal projects, requires effort. Do so and you’ll have made some incredibly potent art out of your life come the end of 2019.
As Uranus finishes up its transit through your 9th house of long-term plans, you get to reflect on the twists and turns the past 7 years have seen you through. What you’ve published, put out into the world, and decided to risk for the sake of your growth is put in perspective now. Come March, when Uranus enters your 10th house of career (staying until 2026), that same excitement and unpredictability influences all of your professional plans. You may not know where you are headed, but you do know that it can’t be the same old situation. Risk what is safe but stifling for what is a risk worth taking.

Virgo & Virgo Rising
January 5th is home to the first of a series of eclipses that activate your 5th house of creative energy, projects, and progeny. With its arrival you are asked to clarify your commitments to all you are bringing into form. If you want it, what are you willing to give to it and give up for it?
Since eclipses will be occurring in this area of your chart for the next year and a half (July and December of 2019 and July of 2020), the first of its kind doesn’t necessarily demand an answer to this question. It’s more of an introduction to a process that you are in, setting the tone for your learning process. Meditate on what you wish to create but haven’t been able to due to fear of failure, success, or mediocrity. There is nothing average about making a sincere effort. There is only courage and a willingness to work through the awkward phases of learning how to self-express. Don’t worry about getting what you create right, just worry about letting your small fears stand in the way of big things.
The second eclipse of the year occurs on January 20th. It is a super moon, total lunar eclipse that lights up your 12th house of behind the scenes projects, unconscious habits and patterns. It is the last in a series of eclipses in this part of your chart and it highlights the incredible healing that you have done over the past couple of years. What you have lost, and what you have had to let go of, may have been tremendous but what you have learned about yourself will last your lifetime.
This summer’s total solar eclipse amplifies the communal care you are in need of giving and receiving. With an increase of energy here, your friends, groups, and collectives you are a part of are all places of important exchanges. Party with connection as your intention and see what projects, insights, and opportunities form between you and others.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter is busy getting your house in order. With this expansive influence, your ideas of home and family grow, but so too might the members of it. Who are you welcoming? What are they teaching you? Notice what past patterns, feelings of abandonment, and fears of rejection are starting to soften, and maybe even heal.
Uranus finishes up its transit through your 8th house of collaborative efforts and enters your 9th house of long-term plans. Come March (and staying until 2026), Uranus influences your ideas about your place in the world, asking you to think more broadly about your future. More options open up to you as old paths close down before you can reach them. This shift in course is common with this transit. You’ll most likely end up studying, teaching, or traveling to places you had no idea you’d want to over the next 7 years, something that is made much more enjoyable when we are open to the possibilities rather than being married to an outcome.

Libra & Libra Rising
The major astrological themes of 2019 start out with an eclipse on January 5th in your 4th house of family, home and foundations. This is the first of many eclipses that will occur here over the course of the next year and a half.
These eclipses ask you to make soulful spelunking a part of your daily practice. The deepest excavations of this part of your life will be far from fast, but long-lasting change is rarely instantaneous. This astrology asks you to do a major purge of the past. This doesn’t mean that you get rid of everything, it just means that you get clear on what you are keeping and why. Like clearing your closet, keep what brings you joy, and consider why you would keep what makes you feel ugly, undeserving, or bogged down. It’s irresponsible to let suffering happen when we have the power to do something about it, but when the suffering is ours, we often let it go on for far too long. Especially when our past, or current reality, trains us to do so. Take a deep and honest look at how you were taught to relate to your needs, and take seriously the unlearning of the self-denial that you perpetuate unconsciously or otherwise.
The second eclipse of the year arrives on January 20th. It illuminates your 11th house of friends, groups, and the hopes and dreams for the future that you share. Over the past two years, eclipses have been lighting up this area of your chart, increasing your need to seek out those who love and want to live as you do. How you have learned to shine in and through your most beloved friendships has hopefully healed the parts of you that felt unloved, alone, or unable to find a social home. What you have been able to develop, create, or express as a result of your connections and their willingness to help you, has also been life-enhancing. This last eclipse emphasizes your need to give love to, and receive it from, your communities.
The third eclipse of 2019 occurs in July and awakens your desire to succeed professionally. This works in tandem with your ability to clear out and sort through your past and its debris. There are some things from your former lives that are currently inhibiting your ability to live out your dreams in public and professional spheres. As you work through them, you are released from their paradigm. Able to be more fully present, the opportunities for this area of your life become more obvious and available. Take your inner work as seriously as anything you get paid for.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter expands the possibilities of your social roles, collaborations, and networks. You have access to a greater pool of people and as a result you are able to get more done with greater efficiency. As long as you stay unwilling to put others on a pedestal, you are more than likely to feel closer to the beauty of working with those that are collectively curating the kind of world you wish to live in.
Uranus finishes up its transit through your 7th house of committed partnerships this year, putting the finishing touches on the changes you have undergone in and through your most important relationships. Over the past 7 years there were most likely major twists and turns, but what you learned was to be straight with yourself before you try to be with anyone else. As Uranus enters your 8th house (staying there until 2026), you get experimental within your collaborations and exchanges with others. There are many changes to the way you do business. They don’t, and probably shouldn’t, happen all at once, but more than one will feel abrupt. You need a change. How you collaborate is shifting. Your energy wants to be invested in different ways. Let these shifts occur, but be mindful of ends meeting in the transitions.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
January 5th sets off a series of eclipses that initiate you into a year and a half-long investigation into the nature of your rituals, communications, and the daily routes you take to get from point A to point B. Not every system you have set up suits your current situation. Revamping your way around your days can give you a much needed shift in perspective. Consider what daily, weekly, or monthly activities no longer feed you energetically. What might you give up in order to create space for more of your own down time.
As your daily responsibilities increase you have to work within and honor your limits, but that doesn’t mean your creativity within them needs to be curbed. In fact, enjoying the challenge will help you to innovate the ways in which you relate to your very intense, dense, but incredible rich schedule. Writing projects require extra work from you, but also offer greater reward. Never has it been more clear that whatever you are creating with your thoughts and words, you are also required to experience. Be mindful of what you call in. 2019 reveals, in no uncertain terms, the impact of what you choose to say and when you choose to say it. Words are spells, cast them wisely.
The second eclipse of the year occurs on January 20th. It is the last eclipse to activate your 10th house of career for quite some time and as it does it reveals the important growth this area of your life has seen over the past 2 years. This eclipse is celebratory in nature, revealing the power of putting yourself into your work and the world. You can’t control the outcome, but the process of becoming more and more transparently yourself in your public and professional life reveals a power you can’t get from any source save yourself.
The third eclipse of the year occurs in July. It increases your wanderlust and your need for a vast array of teachings, teachers, and philosophies to consider. The journeys that you decide to go on will become turning points for you. They mark the most important departures for you, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. You are being given the opportunity to experience yourself in new lights, new settings, and surroundings. As you do, you’ll come to know something new about your needs, how to nurture more of yourself, and how to honor your intuitive way of working in the world.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter expands all the avenues you have for revenue making. The amount you can make is endless, but be careful of taking on projects that are unrealistic or overwhelming in their workload. Gains need to be weighed by what they help you develop, experience, and cultivate more of in your life.
As Uranus finishes up its 7 year transit through your 6th house of work projects, it helps you understand the importance of your willingness to do things your own way at work. Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
2019 asks you to purge your system of any sediment that gets in the way of your ability to fill your coffers, cash your checks, or secure you bags. The first eclipse of the year on January 5th sets this year and a half long learning curve into action. With Saturn, Pluto, and the south node surrounding the eclipses, you are being asked to face the power dynamics in this area of your life that plague you the most. It helps to be aware of the financial lessons you learned as a little one in order to deescalate the dynamics that tend to halt your current progress. Think about what money matters caused stress in your childhood home. Was money used as a means to control others? Was making a living something that was joyful or stressful for the parental figures in your life? What from your past did you naturally internalize that is helpful in regards to making ends meet, and what is not? What is coming up in regards to finances that is helping you work through, and maybe even heal, these issues? Any and all work that you do to clear up these issues sets a pattern for profound change in this area of your life. It’s the job of these eclipses to reveal their lessons in dramatic ways, but don’t be swayed from your course. The stakes are high, but the rewards are endless.
The second eclipse of the year happens on January 20th, in your 9th house of travel, teaching, and long-term plans. Over the course of the past two years, you have more than likely been able to accomplish a remarkable amount on your to-do list. The adventures you have been on during this time become part of your life’s most important turning points. They are far from over, but this is the last eclipse in this part of your chart for some time and thus signifies an important moment of reflection and of future projections for you. The light of this moon makes clear the paths you must continue to tread.
This year’s third eclipse occurs in July. It is a total solar eclipse that pulls focus on your appetite to increase your financial situation through the right collaborations. This area of life and its opportunities are steadily growing There are partnerships that will seem perfect at first, but ask too much from you in the end. The point the eclipse is trying to make is that being selective isn’t diminishing your returns. Only the most sound investments of your time, energy, and talents need to be pursued in order to bring in the bounty.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter works wonders for your reputation. This once in 12-year transit creates opportunities that will unfold for years to come. Sprinkling a little to a lot of luck into all of your efforts, Jupiter’s magic relies on your ability to bring it into being. A little goes a long way with this juice though. We often think we need the most dramatic of situations to occur in order to get something off the ground, but that kind of event isn’t the only road to success. The beauty of working with what is effortless is that it allows you to replenish your system while you are growing. Look for, and work with, the little lifts as much as the big take-offs in order to advance your agenda.
Uranus finishes up its transit through your 5th house of creative projects by March of 2019 and enters your 6th house of work and health matters, staying there until 2026. With a deeper understanding of the disruptive power of your creative energy when unleashed, you are now being asked to take it into your work rituals, routines, and longer-term projects. Your main job is to refuse convention for the sake of it. Keep what works, but don’t be afraid to break with what doesn’t. You are positioned to channel Big Boss Energy, the kind that lets others know you are able to shift the paradigms that don’t serve your system, internally and externally.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
2019 leaves you no escape routes, no getaway plans, and no reason to want them. At least not in the long run. On January 5th, the first eclipse of 2019 occurs in your sign beside Saturn, Pluto, and the south node. This is the first of many such eclipses, in fact 2019 will make your sign home to 3 in total. With each one you are asked to get real, raw, and unpretentious about your healing process, your progress and, as a result, your potential.
With each eclipse you’ll be asked to purge your false notions of what living a successful life means for you. With each eclipse you will be required to peel off the layers of your persona that you have relied too heavily upon over the years. With each eclipse you’ll understand a little bit more about the power of your own vulnerability.
This process will encourage you to let go of the accolades you may have also hid behind. Humility goes a long way when wanting to live a good life. It enables you to identify the blessings that hubris would dismiss in an instant. It reminds you of the importance of staying low enough to the ground so that you can catch the first signs of approaching opportunity. It grants you access to horizontal collaborations.
When we spend our life being trained to look up for inspiration, we sometimes miss all the abundance, creative ingenuity, and beauty right beside us.
The second eclipse of the year, on January 20th, emphasizes the important growth you have experienced in and through your collaborations. This is the last of a series of eclipses here for a while and will most likely help you to close an important chapter within a joint venture, or receive some recognition from one. You’ve learned a great deal about your needs, your assets, and how imperative it is to find the right fit. Take this wisdom with you as you continue to build with others in all ways.
The year’s third eclipse occurs in July. It is a total solar eclipse that activates the potentials of your partnerships. Your need for an equal in business and romantic partnerships becomes increasingly more clear, as does your desire for the intimacy that truly satiates. No substitutes needed here. Waiting for the real thing might be challenging, but nothing else will leave you even close to feeling full.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter is hard at work getting you to develop a deeper faith in your process. As it expands the possibilities of your behind the scenes projects, it reminds you of the importance of incubation periods. By December 2019, Jupiter enters your sign, and from now until then you are being prepared for the personal growth it will provide you. Big things are brewing, stay close to and appreciative of the process.
With Uranus finishing up its transit through your 4th house of home, family, and foundations until March of 2019, you wrap up a seven year period of intense inner excavation. You’ll have an easier time feeling settled once the transit passes and enters your 5th house of creative self-expression (where it will stay until 2026). As of March, Uranus will encourage you to take chances, break with tradition, and find the most innovative ways to create and release your creations into the world.

Pisces & Pisces Rising
The top of 2019 begins with a solar eclipse and new moon in your 11th house of friends, communities, and the common causes and celebrations you unite around. This eclipse is one of many that stimulate this area of your life over the next year and a half, signifying the importance of the people and community events that you place yourself in. From the get-go, 2019 asks you to get very clear on who you are surrounding yourself with, and why.
Being of service to your communities is essential to living a meaningful life, but the service has to be aligned to our purpose. Volunteering your efforts for the wrong reasons will only leave you resentful and exhausted. Offer your time, energy and heart to the opportunities that meet you and move you. We aren’t supposed to serve all things all the time, but what calls us to it needs to be answered. Getting to know the psychological underpinnings of why you do what you do helps you move from unconsciously reacting from guilt and shame, to consciously choosing who you and what you serve with purpose, integrity, and intention.
The second eclipse of 2019 occurs on January 20th. It is the last of a series of eclipses in your 6th house of work and health. What you have healed in regards to your relationship with your body and your brand have taught you the importance of shining while being of service. The well-being of your physical, mental and emotional self sees you through each and every deadline and bit of downtime. The more you take care of it, the more you can take care of your work and world.
2019’s third eclipse occurs in July. Activating your 5th house of creative energy, projects, and passionate pursuits, your desire to breathe life into all you are working on increases. As your appetite for creative self-expression grows, it entices you to take responsibility for the wild energy that runs through you. Doing so reminds you that having more fun needs to be an intentional decision. You are meant to know the meaning of healing through pleasure, joy, and play. You aren’t here to deny yourself what you need, but you are here to supply it in ways that won’t derail the rest of your life.
From November 2018 through to December 2019, Jupiter expands the possibilities of your personal and professional goals. With access to abundant blessings in this area of your life, your job is to not get lost in the fantasy of success. Instead, get lost in the work that feels most meaningful, and magical to you.
With Uranus finishing up its transit through your 2nd house of money, assets, and livelihood, you are able to put the finishing touches on healing your relationship with your resources. Whatever harmful notions you have broken free of in regards to your worth, how money works, and of your right to make it, is priceless. The changes to how you make a living have most likely been vast over the past 7 years. You get to incorporate and integrate all of those lessons now.
As Uranus enters your 3rd house of daily life and communications, in March (there until 2026), your day-to-day life and its schedules get a major reconstruction. What you begin to write, teach, and where you travel to may be unexpected, but never boring, dull, or without adventure. You are a channel for much truth and many revelations to move through. The more you accept the challenge, the more easily the ideas and articulation of them will come.
