The full moon in Pisces occurred at 12.03AM PT on Wednesday, September 6th.
Each of us longs for a sense of belonging. For reciprocity. For respect.
Each of us deserves to be included in the human family. Deserves to have a safe place to call home on this planet. Deserves to know that we are an integral part of the unfolding story of humanity.
No matter what the maps say. No matter what the white men say. No matter what the papers say.
Each of us belongs here.
The full moon in Pisces affects the entire week. Riding upon highly sensitized tides and heightening our emotional experience, this full moon may open the flood gates of our feelings. May help us to empathize with others. The first lunation since the total solar eclipse on August 21st, this full moon may also help us to reset our systems.
However, conjunct Neptune, this full moon is both compassionate and unclear.
Neptune is the great spirit of the seas. Master of the mists. Deity of dreams and delusions. Neptune reminds us of our connection to one another. It washes away both the false boundaries and the necessary ones. Leaving us untethered. Disconnected from the ground beneath us. Floating freely but also aimlessly. Neptune raises us up to towards the heavens, but leaves no safety net to fall back on.
As a result, it can be hard to gather ourselves in this astrology. Life can feel difficult to make sense of. Hard to make headway with. Hard to get a hold of or get organized in. Neptune erodes boundaries. Personally and collectively. When boundaries are washed away, anxiety can soar. When Neptune is in the mix, it is of the upmost importance to stay grounded.
This unearthing effect won’t last too terribly long, though, with the sun, Mars and soon Mercury in Virgo. Virgo is the ground that holds the waters of Pisces. The ballast to its meandering energy. The hard work to its days spent dreaming.
This full moon is also square Saturn, making the out come of this moon heavily laden with consequence. Eventually our visions must meet form and structure if they are ever to be birthed. With the heavy emphasis on Virgo come the end of the week, the work will be made known and there will be much energy and desire to get it done.
May we use this full moon to continue to dream up, and actively work towards, creating a world where white supremacy has been abolished. A world where science is thriving and used to address the impact of climate change daily. A world where, instead of having to use all of our energy defending our right, and the rights of our loved ones to live free of harm, we get to collectively create ingenious ways to thrive together. Without fear of not having enough to share. Without the cognitive dissonance that drives capitalist consumerism. Without the false notion that any one of us deserves anything less than dignity, respect and a fair chance to live out the life of our dreams.
Full moon blessings,
Chani
