Astrology of the Week
Tuesday, November 7th
Venus enters Scorpio
Thursday, November 9th
Sun in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn, both at 17°
Saturday, November 11th
Saturn in Sagittarius trine Uranus in Aries, both at 25°
It’s impossible to heal something we aren’t willing to expose. Open up about. Learn from.
It’s impossible to understand what might be needed from a situation if we are too afraid to have it revealed. Witnessed by others. Affirmed by those who have experienced it too.
It’s impossible to move forward if we aren’t prepared to address, and attempt to heal, the wounds of our past. The wounds that we keep circling around. The wounds that we are meant to reduce to just a memory for future generations to come.
This Scorpio season has been relentless in helping us the excavate abuses of power that have been normalized for too long.
Witnessing this kind of harm demands that we hold an incredible tension within us. It requires that we come to terms with the fact that we all contain the ability to do great things. Horrific and heroic. It requires that we learn how to keep coming back to our centers. Filling up on what cannot run dry.
Surviving Scorpio season’s revelations requires we get very close to the sources of sweetness that can sustain us.
For those in the Northern Hemisphere, Scorpio season is mixed with what many experience as seasonal depression. Not only is this an intense shift for the body, but so too for the emotional self. With longer nights we have more time to contemplate our lives. More stillness gives us more reason to reflect. More time to feel what we didn’t have time to sort through in the brightness of summer.
You might find that you need a lot more rest. A lot more nourishment. A lot more conscious seeking of what brings you joy.
This week Venus, the planet that brings pleasure and connection, ventures into Scorpio’s mysterious and sometimes treacherous waters. Not known for its graceful or diplomatic abilities, Venus in Scorpio struggles to experience the ease that the planet of love is famous for. Joined by Jupiter, the two together have the ability to bring about something wonderful, if a little exaggerated.
What, we might ask, is “wonderful” to Scorpio? The sting of truth? The depths explored? The alchemical transformations that turn compost into rich soil? To the tender-hearted, Scorpio’s process can be more harrowing than hopeful. But we need this medicine.
Scorpio pulls out the poisons. Reveals the wounds. Reveals the extent to which repair must be done. Reveals what we need to develop within ourselves in order to hold the whole experience.
As Saturn makes its last major move while still in Sagittarius, this week we get to reflect on the good and hard work that we have done. The last of three trines to Uranus, Saturn’s wrap up in Sagittarius is asking us to understand the extent to which we can work within the systems we have built, and the extent to which they need to be completely revised. Scorpio season will not let us skirt these issues. We may not know what it is that we need to build in order to replace the corrupt systems we are living within, be we can trust that we were born with the creative intelligence necessary to find out.
*Your weekly horoscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. If you know both your rising sign and sun sign, please read both horoscopes. They both contain important information. You’ll know which resonates more for you from week to week. Take what works for you, leave the rest. If you want to share this work you must quote it and link it to this post and website. Thank you for your support and for spreading the work around, we appreciate it!
This week’s goodness comes from your ability to consciously untie your energetic investments from what is no longer asking for you. So that you can put yourself in places and spaces that want you. Yearn for your kind of fire. Celebrate your kind of style.
Venus and Jupiter want to teach you something about how good it can feel to finally give up on what was never going to be. So that you can grieve it if you need to. So you can purge it from your system. So you can realign yourself with what feels present, attentive and attuned to you.
Turn yourself towards what appreciates you. Invest your energy there.
As Saturn makes its last trine to Uranus, what becomes incredibly clear is that you can’t plan for the unexpected, but you can prepare yourself for it. By investing in your personal growth. By putting your ideas out into the world come celebration or criticism (or both). By continuing your commitment to the path you have chosen. Come clear skies or overgrowth trails.
This week as Saturn and Uranus make their last trine to one another, you’ll witness how important it has been for you to build a structure, a monument, an ode to what you believe in.
And what you are experimenting with believing in.
This transit explores how valuable it is to have ideas disrupted by emerging truths. Revelations. Insights. How important it is to stay flexible when planning for the future. How wise it is to leave room for the unexpected. It isn’t important to get to the place you set out for if something else more honest, more alluring and more aligned with you reveals itself. Commit to moving towards what is true for you.

The benefit of being the one who provides so much stability for others (shoulders to cry on, heart to lean on, soul-nourishment to feast from) is that you get the opportunity to understand life from many perspectives. You get the chance to witness how every heart beats to their own drum. You get the opportunity to honor just how uniquely we all need to be cared for.
As Venus, your ruling planet, slides into Scorpio, you’re given more reason to discover what your loves need from you.
These next few weeks promise an array of experiences that teach you about what it is to be in deep union with others. These are weeks that promise to help you pull out the poisons that former heartbreaks might have infected you with. Weeks that reveal old defenses to being loved. Defenses that can now be transformed. Composted. Dealt with deftly. Learn what about your messiness is honorable. Which bad decisions bring helpful hints about your healing. Why learning how to love is never about getting it “right”.
There is no perfect love. There is only being real about your process with it.
As Saturn makes its last sextile to Uranus, consider how you have learned to reinvent your understanding of what you need when partnering with others. Whatever consciousness you have been able to cultivate in regards to sharing your resources will sustain you for many years to come. You don’t have to keep giving just because you can. Find ways to hold your energy until the right moment. When the container is solid and ready, pour yourself in.

Over the past year your relationships have been teaching you about freedom and commitment. Room and restriction. Sacrifice and satisfaction.
What have you been willing to give up personally in order to grow collectively? Who amongst your people has been willing to work through emotional hurdles in order to experience greater intimacy with you? What partnerships have been sacred containers for your efforts, energy and experience?
By learning how to be of service to the needs of your unions (both personal and professional), you’ve also been able to align yourself with new channels of abundance.
Generosity is a gift that always gives back to those who extend it.
Keep your attention on the relationships agreements that need reinventing. Restructuring. Reorganizing. If it isn’t right for you, it can’t be right for the two of you. See what shifts need to occur in order to honor all that the partnership can create. Given the right conditions, we are all capable of shining.
This week that becomes incredibly evident. As does your part in co-creating these conditions.
The more honest you can be with your people and the projects you are working on with them, the more forthright they will be about what they need from you and what they can build with you.

Take note of your intensity. Of the sheer power of your emotions. Of your ability to tap into deep feelings and make use of them. Create from them. Draw wisdom with them as guide posts. Feelings aren’t facts but they are full of insights for us to make use of. There is always an important truth within them. Feelings need to be studied in order to be honored for their complexity. Feelings can’t always be taken at face value. Feelings dismissed are chances missed to understand our process a little deeper. Feelings are not here to be logical.
They are mythical.
Treat them like a labyrinth. A journey. A discovery awaiting your arrival. This week’s astrology grants you goodness when you are able to welcome in what feels too unformed to make sense of. What seems too tender. What is awake to the subtleties of your experience. What is teeming with tremendous insight.
This depth of feeling wants to grant you access to deep wells of creative energy. Boons await you when you are willing to honor your own emotional undercurrents. Benefits come when you are willing to sink an anchor down into your own experience. Great wealth can be discovered when you allow your feelings to flow.
This week also comments on the structure that you have been able to introduce to your work life over the past 2 years. How you have been able to build something out of sheer commitment and consistency. What you have been able to invent, establish and awaken within your work. You might notice small to large shifts taking place over the next couple of weeks in your work routines. This is an important aspect of your professional growth. It might stir something within you. Some understanding of how to better hold your work projects and professional dreams. Remember to keep your mind open to the potential you unconsciously reject. Remember to encourage yourself to see beyond your fear. Remember that there is still so much that you have to discover in and through your work in the world.

Anchors drop deep this week. Wells of good feelings can be accessed when you are willing to move through the more intense ones. Every time we acknowledge some part of our process we make a little more room to experience ourselves in our entirety.
Do what you can to enjoy your space.
As the beauty of your origins comes into focus, you might notice that with a little healing you are able to recall more sweetness from your past. The love that has always been present either for you or with you. The serenity that can be experienced every time you learn to love a little bit more of what you’ve come from. And through.
You might notice that healing issues with family members, housemates or those you share history with becomes a little easier. Not by evading the work that needs to be done, but from your own willingness to accept things as they are.
This week also comments on the commitments that you have been able to make to your creative life. Your unique way of self-expressing has matured. You’ve learned what is possible when you focus your energy and honor your odd way of working.
Embrace your strange.
Whatever self-doubt, self-rejection or self-sabotaging you have been able to push through, heal and work with while discovering what it is you are capable of creating, is its own reward. One that should be placed on your altar and gazed upon whenever you need a boost. This week polishes off that medal, reminding you just how far you’ve come and how extraordinary the task of becoming oneself really is.

Histories are layered. With people, places and events. Foundations are formed over time. Over life lessons. Over life longings. Over life’s mysterious twists and turns. Home bases aren’t built in an afternoon. They take seasons to create. Holidays to celebrate. Loved ones to sanctify the ground we are building upon.
Whatever home base you’ve been able to create over the past couple of years is incredibly important. For your mind, body and soul. Whatever family inheritances you’ve been able to heal, honor or accept as yours to work with will serve as part of the floorboards of your becoming. Whatever solid ground you’ve found and claimed as your own is the place from which all things will grow.
This week wonders if there are any last revisions to make. Any renovations to take place. Any way in which you might still need to reframe yourself in your own origin stories. There is power in what we tell ourselves. There is power in the narratives that others have of us, if we let them frame ourselves for us. There is power in the ways in which we communicate our own stories. This week wants to remind you of that power. That you can reclaim it. That you can rename yourself if need be. That you can and need to review the ways in which you build from your base. To make sure it’s in line with what you hope to be able to grow your life into.

You may have an overwhelming urge to spend your savings on fine wine and silk sheets this week. You may have a hard time fighting the urge to get yourself a gift. A treat to satiate a temptation. Give in to your yearnings but get clear about what is fair to trade for your passions. With both Venus and Jupiter in your second house of money, assets and property, you might feel like excess is your current aesthetic.
Try to find sustainable sweets to satisfy your cravings.
The benefics are in a particularly pretty position to help you attract more wealth into your realm and more possibilities to your work and your wares. Encourage yourself to access the magnetic and abundant power that this duo can bring by saying yes to what adds value to your life and no to what costs you too much personally.
As Saturn finishes up its transit through Sagittarius, it reminds you of the importance of being committed to doing what you can each day while still being flexible about how it gets done. This week brings about confirmation of the importance of leaving room for creative chaos. Dedication is important, but being dedicated for the right reasons is more so. The more you marry yourself to doing what needs to be done so that the right situations get a chance to take shape, the better.

To be graced with the gift of both Venus and Jupiter in your sign at the same time is no small thing. It is no casual occurrence. It is no event to leave unattended.
You’ve got good reason to get ready for them. Get your love nest aglow. Get to romancing all you wish to grow.
Jupiter brings luck. Venus brings charm. Given the two are together in your sign through the rest of November, you have a sweet set up that will help you to both give and receive great prosperity. This might be a time when you feel compelled to take better care of yourself. A time when you love with greater ease. A time when you are more at peace with yourself and your roles in the world.
There is great luxury in the well-being we are able to cultivate. Luxuriate in any amount that you have access to. There is also a caution here not to overdo the indulgences that leave you too hungover to make use of this celestial magic.
This week’s Saturn/Uranus trine reveals the importance of your commitment to the development of your resources. Over the past year, what talents have you been able to make manifest through your hard work and dedication? What risks have you been willing to take in terms of how you make a living? What innovations are you making to your industry? Take your efforts to heart. Try not to take them for granted, but if you do, take a moment to ask who is benefiting from you doing so. If it is not you, rethink your strategy.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
This week healing comes when you allow yourself to feel what your consciousness might condemn as illogical. What comes up doesn’t have to conform to your ideas of what is appropriate for the moment. What comes up doesn’t have to fit into your life in any particular way.
But it needs to be tenderly tended to.
Old wounds, old sacrifices, and old ghosts come bearing gifts this week so try not to turn them away. They carry with them the keys to greater well-being. Alleviation of some forgotten suffering. Gratitude for what is good, right here and now. The only thing you need to do is not refuse them for fear of what you’ll need to feel. This process may also mysteriously lead to you receiving help from an unknown source, assistance from a secret admirer, praise from someone you didn’t know was rooting for you.
You are at a point in your growth cycle that confirms the efforts that you’ve made to define yourself for yourself, so any nods of approval you receive are much deserved. This week celebrates the successes that you have had in doing the hardest work possible: separating yourself from what was keeping you confined. Unable to grow into your responsibilities. Unable to mature into your own great masterpiece.
Accepting the task of becoming means letting go of all that gets in our way of it.
This week celebrates the risks that you have had to take in order to to do so. This week wants you to consider what other redefinitions are occurring in the moment. Track them. Support them. Seek out what sets you freer still. As you well know by now, its all about choosing the right the commitments and sticking to them.

The past few years have been encouraging you to loosen up. Encouraging you to become less identified with what is impermanent. Encouraging you to find something more honest to identify with.
This process has asked you to take risks that involve you trying out life in completely new ways. Giving up what you were overly attached to, dependent, or fixated on. This process has been teaching you how to rely on your inner compass when the rest of your life feels under too intense of an overhaul.
This week might make you aware of how important these lessons have been for your overall growth and life direction. How through this process you have been able to connect to a deep well of intuitive wisdom within you. A deeper understanding of what is essential and what you are capable of living without. A clearer connection with your gift of getting things done no matter the condition.
This has been a solo journey, but not the only one you are on. As this week reminds you, the boons of community are endless sources of nourishment, hope and prosperity. With both Jupiter and Venus in your 11th house of good friends and the fortune that they bring, you are entering a month-long period of social gold. Carve out time to spend in the spaces that support you, your work and your overall growth. Give generously, lovingly and freely to them and you’ll quickly experience the quality of your connections increase a million-fold.

This week comments on how you’ve been able to show up for and work with the communities you are a part of. It pays homage to how well you have been able to gather what you can from those that you share social time and space with. It makes clear your need to spend a little more time with one group or another.
Don’t be afraid to mix up your invite list.
Get together with the folks that you want to work with. With both Jupiter and Venus in the career sector of your chart, you’ve got extra charm and luck riding with you to work. These two are encouraging you to follow up on potential work opportunities. They are encouraging you to honor your roles in professional situations. They are asking you to remember that the world needs your gifts, no matter how you might feel about them. No matter how ready you think that they are. No matter how nervous it makes you to put them out into the public.
The secret to success is that you keep working on what you’ve got as you are delivering it. Your work doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to be held with as much thoughtfulness as you can offer it. It just needs to be given some air to breath and room to roam.
It needs a social life as much as you do.
Source knowledge from your surroundings. Seek the answers that your cohort is always contributing. Consider every part of your community as potential partners for your work so that it has the chance to move out beyond the scope of your reach.

How we do what we do ends up being the legacy that we leave behind. Everything we will be remembered for will be determined by our approach to it. Our willingness to try and understand it. Our ability to learn how to be a better partner to it.
This week reminds reminds you of the power of being receptive to the changes that are occurring in your professional life. It encourages you to support the innovative energy that wants to be channeled into your work projects. It wants to remind you of the importance of being adaptable while still being incredibly committed to your purpose, to your intention and to developing yourself through your calling.
Your career might not be on a path that feels consistent to you, but give it a little time. The professional growth spurts and leaps of faith that you have been able to make over the past couple of years might not have felt smooth but, in retrospect, they will come into focus as incredibly important.
