March 30th
Venus enters Taurus
Nothing can save us from the insults of being human, of being vulnerable to life’s whims and weatherings. But a little beauty, a few small pleasures, a sampling of the sweetness of life, can help us cull meaning from the mayhem.
Enter Venus in Taurus.
Here until April 24th, Venus is the least problematic planet in our skies right now. It is, therefore, the planet we may wish to send our pleas to. In order to appease the Goddess of Grace and Good Times, we must enter her temple adorned and with plenty of praise in our pocket. Venus brings love and luxury. In Taurus, the more tactile the goodies, the better. Praise Venus by praising your body, your lovers, and your abundant good fortune here on the physical plane. Get yourself to some greenery to remember the lushness of nature. Soak in the sensual sensations that help you to ground so that good things have a place to take root.
Look to the house in your chart that contains Taurus. It is the part of your life that is benefiting from Venus’s good graces and flirtations.
March 31st
5:37 AM PT – Full moon at 10° of Libra
The full moon comes with a hefty square from Mars and Saturn. Squares to and from these two tyrants have been a major theme of this lunar cycle thus far, and continue to be. This full moon has a way of articulating any overwhelm that lies just beneath the surface of our schedules.
Libra looks for balance in all things but, this lunation, the scales are tipped. Balance may not be a practical goal to strive for so strive for something a little more plausible given the current climate of your life.
A little understanding goes a long way. A little care can help to soothe a build up of stress. A little thoughtfulness can help to reset your relationships and your responsibilities. With Venus in Taurus as ruler of this full moon, its important to praise the goodness that we have access to and remember that the worry we have can be momentarily put down in exchange for an opportunity to embrace some pleasure and love.
April 1st
Sun conjunct Mercury at 11° of Aries
This is the heart of Mercury’s retrograde cycle. The mid-point of its process. The part of the therapy session where you get that Oprah-sized, “A-Ha!” moment. This occurs on the heels of the full moon and may act as a kind of reset to our system. Mercury is squaring both Mars and Saturn as this occurs, however. Our awakenings may be tuning us into more complexity than clarity, but we are still better off being armed with all the knowledge possible. With another 2 weeks to its retrograde, Mercury’s witchcraft is worth noting. Much is still hidden, so tread carefully and cautiously with your gathering and distributing of data.
April 2nd
Mars conjunct Saturn at 8° of Capricorn
The most challenging aspect of all, Mars and Saturn’s conjunction in Capricorn demands our very best. This aspect may not feel friendly, but if you work with it, it will help you master the fine art of Giving The Right Fucks. We can’t care about everything, even if we wanted to be able to. We have to make choices. We have to be discerning. We have to direct our energy towards some things and away from others if we are to get anything done. Mars pierces the boundaries that protect us, Saturn is the boundary that keeps us safe or keeps us from experiencing life.
Mars conjunct Saturn asks us what we need to build boundaries around, and which boundaries we need to transgress. The combination also speaks to needing to move (Mars) through incredible obstacles (Saturn) no matter how difficult. These two together build an incredible resolve, determination and, in Capricorn, a drive to do it no matter how impossible it may appear.
Look to the meaning of the house in your chart that contains Capricorn for more information on how this transit is impacting you.
April 4th & 5th
Mercury (still retrograde) in Aries square Mars, and then Saturn in Capricorn, all at 8°-9°
What we agree to must be adhered to if our word is to be taken seriously. As Mercury retrograde always teaches, it’s good to review the nature of our commitments as they set us out on the course of our lives. Agreeing to what isn’t ultimately freeing for us usually backfires.
Mercury finds itself under incredible scrutiny during the first week of April. What we communicate must be incredibly thoughtful at this point, otherwise the hot waters of consequence are yearning for our company. Keep your commitments consolidated. Do not overextend your energy. Do not take the curt tone of others too personally, and cut yours off at the pass. You may find that you and others are running short on patience, making conversations a little tense. These aren’t the best days to find resolve, but they are ones that reveal the outcomes of our poorly communicated sentiments rather well. Say it with as much kindness as you can.
Mercury will make these squares again come late April and mid-May, making the effects of this Mercury retrograde long-lasting and not yet conclusive. Look to the meaning of the house in your chart that contains Aries for an understanding of how this Mercury retrograde has and is impacting you.
April 7th
Venus in Taurus trine Saturn in Capricorn, both at 9°
From April 7th through to the 12th, Venus makes some very helpful aspects. Set up to experience as much harmony as it can, Venus is the current celestial harbinger of hospitality. Venus in its own sign makes a trine to Saturn in its own sign today. These two come with all the wealth they need and act helpful to each other. Like two masters of their craft in conversation, we can all benefit from the wisdom they impart. Look to see what you are learning about slowly building your reserves, your resume, and your relationship bonds. Venus and Saturn here remind us of the importance of cultivating appreciation for things over time. Do not rush. Instead, deepen, stabilize, and work honestly at what you love.
April 10th
Sun in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn, both at 21°
Venus in Taurus trine Mars in Capricorn, both at 13°
The sun’s square to Pluto brings with it intensity and necessary transformations. This day is cathartic in nature and demands that we address the power struggles that we find ourselves engaged in.
Venus however, continues its escapade through Taurus, teaming up with those that can activate its potential. Venus and Mars trine one another speaks to the sparks that ignite creative intelligence.
And passion.
There is something incredibly intoxicating about this duo and while it may not be about a romantic love opportunity for us individually, it will help us to make use of the creative juice we have access to collectively.
April 12th
Venus in Taurus sextile Neptune in Pisces, both at 15°
Another helpful aspect between Venus and her playmates. Venus and Neptune in aspect together speak to an ideal life, creation, or situation to draw inspiration from.
April 14th
Jupiter in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn, both at 21°
Mars in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces, both at 15°
Mercury stations direct at 4° of Aries at 2:21 AM PT on April 15th
As Jupiter and Pluto line up to make their second of three sextiles this year, they expose another aspect of our appetite for success. Even after the harrowing astrology of early April, Jupiter and Pluto are here to remind us of our resilience, our desires, and our ability to expand through these deep experiences.
It’s a refreshing note to end on.
Mars also makes a helpful connection with Neptune, encouraging us to move towards our dreams and connect our actions to our ideals. We may not get there, but better to be on the path to them, then way off base.
Lastly, as this lunar cycle comes to an end, so too does this past installment of Mercury retrograde. Stationing direct on the same day as the next new moon, Mercury releases us from its wild retrograde ride. Set up for a powerful refresh come the new moon in Aries on April 15th, Mercury reminds us not to rush off without our newly learned lessons in hand.
Horoscope for Aries & Aries Rising
You may not have created the problems you currently face, but you must train yourself in the wise ways of the solutions they require. Right now it probably isn’t helpful to focus too heavily on fault. Though its imperative to be clear on what has transpired, you’ll be more effective when you dedicate your energy to helping yourself (possibly your colleagues and partners as well) through whatever difficulties are in front of you.
It takes courage to be solution oriented. It takes thoughtful consideration to think about more than our impulses. It takes discipline to give ourselves what we need when we need it. Don’t put yourself last. All it will do is make every one of your tasks more tiring.
The full moon on March 31st magnifies the relationship dynamics in your life that need to be addressed. Everyone fears rejection. Everyone fears being incompetent in the face of intimacy. Everyone fears that they are unloveable, in one way or another. Leaving those fears unconscious gives them power.
Work with this full moon to take your power back. Get clear on what relationship dynamics you are participating in. Recommit to the partnerships that know how precious it is to face challenges with great heart and honesty.
The two weeks that follow the full moon continue to provide professional challenges for you to chew on. Do not rush solutions to the situations you face at work. Unpack each issue with every bit of presence you can offer. No matter how frustrating, the limits that you come up against are also providing you with the detours that you need most right now.
Follow their lead.
The force these situations come at you with needs to be met with an equally determined dedication to compassionate kindness. Keep imagining what might be easier to manage if you were flooded with a loving kindness. Keep imagining having the kind of faith in yourself that your best ally has in you. Keep imagining meeting your deadlines with an unending compassion for the incredible efforts required of you.
Mixed in with the mayhem are gifts of ease and encouragement. Financial and energetic support that you need to pull this off is available for you through to the end of April. The resources that you need are there for your to work with. Don’t forget to access them, ask for them, and fill yourself with the sustenance available.
A Workshop for the Lunar Cycle from March 17th – April 14th is now 50% off. Even though the lunar cycle is half over, the most intense astrology is yet to be lived out, making the information in this course incredibly useful from now until the next new moon, and beyond.
Horoscope for Taurus & Taurus Rising
As of March 31st, Venus spends the next month in your sign. Here, the planet of love and connection helps you to solve problems through focusing on what is pleasureful.
Indulge the solutions that have the power to save you from burn-out.
The current astrological weather has an austere influence. It has the ability to trick us into thinking that there is less. That there is a lack. That there isn’t enough time, talent, or opportunity available to us.
Don’t fall for it.
Push back against doubt by doubling down on your well-being. The more you give yourself the resources that you need to succeed, the more you’ll be able to show up ready and willing to do the job at hand. Since the full moon (also on March 31st) puts the professional pressure on you, it’s important to turn up the volume on your self-love situations.
With many deadlines and due-dates looming, you have all the more reason to be kind to yourself. To be thoughtful with yourself. To be considerate of what you need to make it to the finish line. Notice what your most pressing professional obligations are teaching you. Notice what limits you are being forced to work within. Notice what creativity this encourages from you. Try not to let the work-life situations that are stressing you dictate your feelings about your professional potential.
Be on your own side.
Over the next two weeks you’ll be learning a lot about how you self-sabotage and, more importantly, how to effectively and creatively prevent yourself from doing so. Each pattern discovered has the power to shift your philosophical outlook on life. Each time you direct your conscious awareness towards your gifts, strengths, and ability to develop them, you weaken the power that your own self-criticism has. Take the energy that you put into fearing life, and redirect it into ways to work through life’s harder lessons and you’ll have made the first half of April into a series of stunning successes.

Horoscopes for Gemini & Gemini Rising
The full moon on March 31st draws your attention towards the creative projects that are most pressing in your life. What you create, who you create with, and how you create with them, is a major theme of this moon’s meaning. The stress that some of your collaborations or collaborators are under needs to be acknowledged so that it might be held with compassion. What you go though with others becomes an important part of the collaborations themselves.
Unpack the problems carefully.
Whatever you end up facing must be mindfully worked through. Don’t feel like you need to rush in order to win. This is a marathon. Don’t race through the real talk. Life is teaching you a tremendous amount about how to have difficult conversations while doing the least amount of damage. Something few of us know how to do. Keep validating your own feelings while finding the least harmful ways to communicate the tough stuff.
The first week of April demands much of you and your colleagues. Be sensitive to what might help you move not only yourself, but your fellow folks through these trying times.
There are pockets of relief, however.
With Venus strolling through your 12th house, April wants to help you to feel good from the inside out. This has little to do with how well you are finding your way through conflicts. It has little to do with how you are finding your way through the tests and trials of this time. It has only to do with an independent source of well-being that is within you. Tap into it regularly. Find the sources of sweetness in yourself that are not based on your performance or rewards anticipated, gained or lost. Find the part of you that loves and appreciates life as it is. The part that knows how to put down a problem for a moment and enjoy any reason at all to uplift what is working.

Horoscope for Cancer & Cancer Rising
Trust is built from the bottom up. From within ourselves. From how we deal with our fears. From how we deal with each situation and solution. Brick by brick we learn how to lay a life down on solid ground. Bit by bit we learn how to work around the foundational issues that have been passed down to us. Season by season we gain the experience necessary to trust that we’ll find a new way around an old pain.
We cannot rush our trust. We must earn it. We must work for it. We must learn our own best practices when dealing with our personal difficulties.
Don’t let anyone convince you to move faster than you need to. Especially in regards to professional issues that require careful unpacking and review. Instead, work on developing the patience needed to appreciate every bit of its painstaking process.

The first 2 weeks of April bring you many opportunities to review, rework and rewire your thought process. Pay special attention to what your most pressing professional projects are teaching you. The more patience and compassion you can offer to your situation, the more easily you’ll find your way through what you and your partners are facing. With Mars and Saturn colliding in your 7th house of relationships, there is an important test for you and those you are closest to. Work on the agreements, boundaries, and burdens that you both carry. Whether this is a personal or professional situation, both of you need to know the capacities of your union. Be clear. Be kind. Be honest with yourself so that you can be with everyone else.
By mid-April a way forward feels more attainable. Remember to reach out to those in your community that know what you are going through. You have incredible social resources at your disposal right now, make sure to take them up on their gifts. You aren’t in this alone and the more you reach out for companionship, the more you’ll realize the gifts that are trying to get to you. Meeting up for tea and some social time is an incredibly productive way to use your days.

Horoscope for Pisces & Pisces Rising
The full moon on March 31st points to the intricacies of your shared financial situations. This season has been forcing a conversation about how you are currently working with your assets. What you borrow, what you trade, and what you have to work with, in part, depends on how you cultivate it. Care for it. Curate it. Trust that any you are experiencing are a natural part of your overall growth. One of the most detrimental things we can do is mistake necessary ebbs for permanent ones.
One place that you may feel this more than others is in your social circles and friendships. If there are moments where feelings of isolation are more present than connection, know that it is temporary. Not every difficult interaction with someone is the end of the story. This astrology is likely to reveal the weaknesses in a social situation, but allow yourself time to understand if that means it is irreparable or if your expectations of someone, or some group, just need to be altered.
With Venus moving through your 3rd house of communications and daily rituals for most of April, giving yourself access to the practices that help you feel connected and cared for will bring about much success. Spend some time cultivating what calms you and reminds you that the most powerful place to connect into is the beauty that you have access to in this moment.
A Workshop for the Lunar Cycle from March 17th – April 14th is now 50% off. Even though the lunar cycle is half over, the most intense astrology is yet to be lived out, making the information in this course incredibly useful from now until the next new moon, and beyond.
