June 17th
1:31 AM PT – Full Moon at 25° Sagittarius
The full moon in Sagittarius arrives on June 17th, at 1:31 AM PT. Sitting with its ruler, Jupiter, the full moon gives us an important boost of confidence, reassuring us that generosity is the greatest of gifts. Encouraging us to consider what growth is most meaningful for us at this moment, the full moon shines a spotlight on the expansion that we’ve experienced since Jupiter entered Sagittarius in November 2018.
This full moon invites us to look back at what we’ve developed over the past 6 months and see how it sits with us. Growth devoid of mindfulness often ends up as greed gone awry. If what we have in excess isn’t shared, repurposed, or invested for communal prosperity, something in our coffers rots. When we become fixated only on what will keep us safe, our life-force dims. With this full moon, consider what you can give, what you have to offer without hope of anything in return, and what has been shared with you in the same spirit.
Sandwiched in-between days of dense, difficult astrology, this particular full moon gives us a little relief, though it might seem minor in the context of everything else we are holding, grappling with, and working through. We have a moment to soak up any and all celebratory energy before Eclipse season begins. July’s more shadowy lunations will not boast such buoyancy.
June 18th
Saturn Rx in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces, both at 18°
Today, Saturn makes its second of three sextiles to Neptune over the course of 2019. This aspect helps us to oil creaky hinges and imbue the structures of our lives with the dreams we have for it. Saturn is currently sitting with the south node, encouraging us to commit to the regimes that help us clarify and purify the mind, body, and spirit.
Mercury conjunct Mars in Cancer at 21°
Today’s astrology brings harsh sentiments to the tips of our tongues. Whether we speak them or not is our choosing. Just know that communications come with extra speed and impact today. If you say it, mean it, and be willing to work through the outcomes that follow it.
June 19th
Mercury and Mars in Cancer oppose Pluto in Capricorn, all at 22°
As Mercury and Mars fly through the skies together, they come up against Pluto, the deity of great intensity. What usually lives deep underground gets brought to the surface. Subconscious urges, ulterior motives, and socially unacceptable thoughts and feelings rise up to be acknowledged. This is fantastic astrology for bringing our truth into the therapists’ offices, healing rooms, and mentors’ chambers we frequent. With Mars in the mix, the emphasis is on winning, but consider that a fulfilling outcome for your current situation may be very different than what you’re used to achieving.
June 21
Neptune stations retrograde at 18° Pisces – will station direct on November 27
Making its yearly about-face, Neptune’s retrograde might make us feel a little extra dreamy, sleepy, or unwilling to follow the straight lines of our calendar. If you can, leave a little room for day-dreaming.
Solstice, the sun enters Cancer
Welcome, Cancer Season! Here until July 22nd, the sun in Cancer will see us through two eclipses and the better part of a Mercury retrograde. This is no insignificant solstice. In a month, once the sun leaves these stormy seas, we’ll have had a thorough cleansing and be anointed by the clearing and recentering we’ve done.
Whining won’t help you here, but it’s your party so you can cry if you want to.
June 23
Venus in Gemini opposes Jupiter Rx in Sagittarius, both at 17°
Over the next 2 days, the planet of love and relationship has a couple of epic affairs. Today, what gets highlighted is pleasure and the desire to experience an abundance of it. Tomorrow the hangover that comes is significant if we overspend. Have a good time but keep a little money and energy in the reserve tank.
June 24
Venus in Gemini squares Neptune Rx in Pisces at 18°
Today’s astrology is akin to when the frog-prince turns out to really just be a frog. Frogs are fantastic, but not so cuddly or emotionally available. When Venus squares Neptune, we must contend with the rose-colored glasses that refuse life as is. This can be a fantastic set-up for creative projects, but not so helpful for human-to-human interactions.
June 26
Mercury enters Leo, there until June 19, 2019
In the lion’s lair, Mercury will soon station retrograde. Just in time for July’s upcoming Eclipse Season, Mercury will be retrograde from July 7th-31st, spending half of its time in Leo and half its time retrograding back through Cancer.
June 27
Sun in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus, both at 5°
As we get closer to Eclipse Season, today’s sun sextile Uranus encourages us to liberate ourselves from old, outdated ways of being. The traditions that are tiresome, tedious, and in the way of our evolution are overthrown with greater ease today.
July 1
Mars enters Leo there until August 17, 2019
Mars dries off from the deep seas of Cancer as it enters the scorching hot landscape of Leo. Here, Mars is demonstrative of its courage, asking us to do the same when and where applicable. As it heads into a square with unpredictable Uranus, the part of your chart that contains Leo is about to get loud, rebellious, and a little ruckus.
Aries & Aries Rising
June’s full moon highlights the headway you’ve made with your long-term plans. If the road less traveled is where you’ve found meaning, this moment is more than likely going to validate your more unusual directions. Take note of the ways in which you have learned to trust your process, deepen your relationship to your intuition, and prioritize your well-being above socially desired achievements. More than anything, this full moon wants to help you understand the direction your life is pointed towards. If it’s an affirming one, double down. If it’s taking more than you’ve got to give, reconsider why you’d gamble any more of your life energy in its pursuit.
As the full moon fades, more lessons about belonging, grounding and rooting arise. While the loftiness of your life’s journey might be a focal point right now, your home is also calling for your effort and attention. Over the course of the next month, your ability to build, maintain, and feel nourished will be of heightened importance. Any amount of healing that naturally takes place helps you clarify and connect with current and future possibilities.
The last half of June points to the intersection of your past and future. What you don’t wish to repeat needs to now be interrupted. Forgiving yourself for what you did, what you didn’t know how to do, and what you didn’t know you could do is key.

Taurus & Taurus Rising
The full moon highlights the ways in which you’ve healed. It showcases your commitment to your inner growth. It shines a spotlight on all the ways in which you’ve learned to soothe your inner agitation.
It takes courage to find solutions and implement them. Notice what you’ve allowed in that’s helped you grow over the past 6 months. Give thanks for all the collaborations that have encouraged you to open up. Make a point of reminding yourself that you aren’t in this alone. You don’t do anyone any favors by refusing the help freely offered to you. Reciprocity is the recipe for a life well-lived.
As the light of the full moon fades, obstacles appear along your daily route. Conversations get tense, revealing the truths that have been dormant for too long. What you feel about a situation, problem or person is important to articulate, at least to yourself. The more honest you can be internally, especially about your less socially acceptable feelings, the more easily you’ll find the words when the opportunity to speak them arises.

Gemini & Gemini Rising
June’s full moon sheds light on the healing you have done in your relationships. It comments on the corners of your heart that have begun to unfold. It reminds you that each person you enter into a relationship with offers you the opportunity to love and appreciate yourself a little more. It’s through the prism of the other that you get another glimpse of yourself. When it gets challenging to witness yourself in honesty, borrow the vision of those that know and love you best. What do they know about you, better than you do?
Notice the benefits that your partnerships bring into your life. Give thanks for what you have received already. Offer praise for what you honor in others. Relinquish your doubt about deserving the gifts of love that want to find their way to you.
As the light of the moon fades, complications with finances, livelihood, and self-esteem may reappear. If they do, remind yourself that you lack nothing. You came here with all you could ever need. You came here with all the tools necessary to build a life of beauty. You came here with a heart full of love, resilience, and forgiveness. Any momentary lapse in memory of this is human, but dare to be your own superhero. If and when your mind has a hard time remembering who you are and what you came here to do, offer yourself copious amounts of affirmation.

Cancer & Cancer Rising
June’s full moon highlights the development of your most important work projects. Sustainable growth requires faith in the process. Anything that is going to last, at least for a good while, needs to go through as much contraction as expansion. Lately, it may have felt like life was a little too preoccupied with narrowing your choices or limiting your options. This month’s full moon is full of buoyancy and bounce but falls in-between days that feel a little heavy. While the good of the moment might get lost in the overwhelm of the week, carve out a little space in your conscious awareness for gratitude.
Take note of what you’ve worked hard to achieve, what muscles you’ve had to flex, what it stretched within you, and what it demanded from you. Honor the work, effort, and labor you have put in. The blessings that this moment brings comes from both the luck you have and your ability to put that privilege and prosperity to use for all. How you share your wealth becomes your greatest source of it.
Keep considering all the ways in which you can honor difficult emotions while staying open to other options. Things always shift, but they do so with greater ease when can sit with sorrow and still leave room for sweetness.

Leo & Leo Rising
June’s full moon highlights the impact that your healing has had on your ability to be self-expressed. Confidence isn’t always a reliable asset to lean on, but having a system that helps you work through issues that are sure to arise is. It doesn’t always feel easy to advocate for yourself, but in order to create what you know you need to, you have to learn a thing or two about taking up space.
What you have been able to create, especially over the past 6 months, is owed in no small part to your ability to push past the part of you that shrinks in the face of conflict. What have you learned about taking up space, and filling that space with your energy? What internal or external push-back have you received? What has helped you to keep showing up? Whoever doesn’t celebrate your strength or encourage your independence doesn’t deserve much, if any, of your time.
As the light of the moon wanes, what is uncovered is another aspect of your system that needs to be cared for, tended to, and made a priority. Stay out of any power struggles you might have with your body. Let it win for once.

Virgo & Virgo Rising
June’s full moon shines a light on the healing that’s happened in your home or with your family over the last 6 months. What parts of your past are you learning to develop a different relationship to? What space have you been able to cultivate for yourself that’s encouraged you to relax, expand, and settle into yourself? Notice what feels a little easier at your core. Notice what feels a little simpler to work through in yourself. Notice what about your life you reject less, if at all, than you used to.
You deserve to have spaces and places where you feel at ease. You deserve to feel the full wattage of nature’s abundance at play in your life. You deserve to feel at home and at peace in yourself. If this full moon brings you any amount of healing, encourage a little of the overflow to go into the other areas of your life that need it.
As the light of the moon wanes, important conversations come up with friends and community members. You may be the one who’s holding space for others or you may need it held for you. Either way, compassion is key and boundaries are a must when dealing with issues that erode trust or make a mess of best intentions.

Libra & Libra Rising
When and where you can, cleanse your professional life of the people, places, and responsibilities that drain your system, steal your energy, and rob you of your light. Hunt for any adjustments, small or large, that need to be made when setting up your professional agenda for the weeks to come. What becomes clearer now is the limited nature of your time and energy. If you are going to get to the bigger projects and reach your professional goals, you’ve got to make sure you have the time and energy to do so.
June’s full moon highlights your schedule and all of the growth it has undergone in the last 6 months. With so many people waiting on an email, call, text, and talk with you, the value of your time is emphasized. Your most prized commodity must be protected. Your energy is asking not to be misdirected.
We all need help holding the pieces of our puzzle. Make sure you are moving towards getting the structural support you need. Come July, you’ll be beginning some of the most important projects of your career. By the looks of it, what you are taking on will require you to up your game and deepen your dedication to the roles you have in the world. You’ll want to show up for them as refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready as possible.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
Fear often finds us feeling like we should shrink. Shrivel. Sneak past what startles us. June’s full moon asks what fear you might expand beyond the scope of. What belief you might bust out of. It’s asking you to do some accounting. It is commenting on the work projects and financial lessons you’ve learned over the past 6 months. Which are teaching you the most about having faith in your process?
Being able to relax into yourself is one of the greatest talents you could develop at the moment. Being less attached to how your talents are received by the world is another. The full moon is reminding you that true abundance comes with your ability to have a sense of humor while you share with others whatever it is you’ve been given. Generosity is your gateway into greatness.
As the last part of June and the first part of July unfold, you are asked to parse out the most important paths to tread. There’s no wrong route to take, but you will need to decide on a course and stick to it. Choose the ones that require the most from you and offer the most to you. Anything less will feel like a waste of your time and talent at the moment.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
June’s full moon shines the spotlight on you. 2019 has been a year that’s made clear the connection between your personal growth and your healing. If expansion happens without elimination, the things you don’t wish to get bigger also get amplified. Thoughtful growth requires that we be willing to weed out what we don’t want more of, making space for what we do. The full moon brings an abundance of clarity about your stage of this process.
As the light of the full moon fades, what’s left are a few challenging conversations to have about resources, restriction, and the true nature of abundance. If the feeling of generosity isn’t shared by you and your collaborators, not much can take root. When you get to the bottom of the issue, you’ll also get to the solution for it. As the rest of June and most of July will make clear, you can’t build much with partners that don’t know how to be generous. As a way to compensate, give copious amounts of your attention to solutions, staying away from what further drains your system.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
Treat each bout of shame as your personal invitation to experience a little more freedom. Each time you encounter it, investigate its roots. When was the first time you felt this way? Is the amount you feel now an appropriate response to the issue that provoked it? Are you stewing in it as a way to negate having to do what’s necessary to course correct?
Whenever shame dominates decision making, dishonesty becomes more tempting. Interrupt this by being clear and honest with yourself. Whenever you call shame by its name, you are on your way to being liberated from its lair. Accepting responsibility for what you’ve done, forgotten to do, or didn’t do frees you to remain on your own side. June’s full moon and surrounding astrology points out the places where you’ve healed this, and the places where you’ve put it off. The sooner you take it on, the sooner you’ll see the power you’ve been giving away in order to keep shame at bay.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
June’s full moon focuses on the healing benefits of community. Over the past 6 months, you’ve been granted access to new people, places, and partnerships. The full moon highlights the importance of tending to these relationships. Your social life is more than just a place to have a good time, though that is incredibly important. It’s also a place to gather with others that help you stay connected to your hopes and dreams for the future. It’s a place where you remember the power of the collective. It’s a place that connects you to the type of creativity that can only come from a diversity of inspirations.
As the light of the moon fades, the importance of your work schedules, assignments, and struggles come to the fore. June and July are relentless reminders of how your talents want to take care of you but need you to make space for them first. Though the full moon feels like a party, the rest of the current astrology asks you to focus on eliminating distractions and all manner of behaviors that derail your best efforts. Many seemingly insignificant actions go into creating a masterpiece. Redirecting your energy away from what sabotages those small but mighty accomplishments gives you a considerable advantage.

Pisces & Pisces Rising
Others may experience you as someone who overflows with optimism, humor, and faith, but we all know that staying afloat isn’t always easy. The full moon shines a light on the bonuses and big leaps you’ve made in your career over the past 6 months, but only you know what you’ve had to battle, grow, or move past internally in order to do so. What you’ve overcome, especially in the last 6 months, is because of your decision to not be stopped by forces that wish you would.
This full moon celebrates your ability to make a life out of a dream, and a future out of a feeling that you should. It points to the ways in which the world needs you to keep doing so. No one has your special mix of talent, experience, and expertise. Without you, your profession would suffer. Without you, its tapestry is missing a strand. Without you, its vision is less grand. Without you, its knowledge is lacking and its beauty is far less becoming.
As the light of the full moon fades, what comes forward is your current struggle to find the right outlets for your creative energy. You might feel uncertain of your talents or where to put them, but remember that the challenge is temporary and no match for your ability to problem solve. It might be lonely work at times, but that’s all the more reason to reconnect with the rituals that keep your system cleansed and able to intuit the next necessary action.
