This week’s astrology is a mixture of sour and sweet. Working through and with the effects of last Sunday’s full moon square Saturn and this week’s sun square Saturn is anything but easy. Spirits may be a little low. Bodies may be a little tired. Minds may be like, “WTF with this Daylight Savings Time?!”
The work feels far from finished. It might even feel everlasting and a little lackluster. That’s Saturn. But this astrology is momentary. These are the last couple of days before the Spring Equinox (in the Northern Hemisphere). Shift is coming, but we’ll have to find our way through the slightly more serious tone of this configuration first.
The week’s sweetness comes from Saturday’s Mercury/Venus retrograde conjunction. Mercury momentarily helps us to articulate the experiences we’ve been living with and through thanks to Venus retrograde. It gives us information to integrate. It gives voice to the matters of our heart. It helps us to understand its needs and integrate a bit of its wisdom.
Monday brings with it a swift change in season. Springtime beckons us. Asks us to awaken. Brings with it many celebrations, traditions and rituals to help us remember what we are here to do and summon the inspiration to do it.
*Horoscopes are meant to be read as inspiration. If you know both your rising sign and sun sign, please read both horoscopes. They both contain important information. You’ll know which resonates more for you from week to week. Take what works for you, leave the rest. If you find inspiration here we love and appreciate donations. If you want to share this work you must quote it and link it to this post and website. Thank you for your support and for spreading the work around, we really appreciate it and you!
Aries & Aries Rising
The trick is how to make it about loving yourself. The trick is how to make it about encouraging yourself. The trick is how to make it about getting to know another aspect of yourself.
Many important people will come. And go. And stay. And leave. But the real romance is yours. The real relationship is about you coming into a deeper understanding of yourself. A deeper knowing of your strength. A deeper respect for your resilience. A deeper appreciation of your abilities.
Through these depths we are better equipped to experience the beauty of others. Better equipped to understand the richness of our relationships. Better informed to understand the treasures of our partners. This unrelenting relationship with ourselves is our gateway to experiencing the wealth of each other. Without first anchoring ourselves in our own value, we are at great risk of projecting it onto those that are not meant for us. Without first anchoring ourselves in our own value, we are at great risk of getting caught up in fantasy. Without first anchoring ourselves in our own value, we are at great risk of falling for every swoon-worthy exterior that appears before us.
As your relationship to yourself deepens, widens and fulfills your needs, your relationships to others will become all the more clear. All the more direct. All the more obvious. Never be afraid of these little enlightenments. They may change the nature of the way you interact with others, but that is the point.
Let this week move you toward what is simple and straightforward. Honestly reflective. Granting you dignity, room to grow and an unwavering faith in the truth of the situation.

Taurus & Taurus Rising
Remember to let yourself get quiet. Remember to let yourself listen. Remember to let yourself pause and return to the conversation at a later date. Let your communications have width. Breadth. Spacious moments between thoughts.
In this age of constant call and response it is rare and precious to let oneself reflect and wonder. Learn and let it sink in. Let whatever it is we are working through have its own time and tempo. We are pressured to know and correct. We pressure ourselves to know correctly.
Your relationships may be providing humbling situations at the moment. Where you don’t always know. Where you blunder into awkward places in between you and them. Where you learn something about the nature of your shortcomings. Your self-sabotaging. Your difficulty forgiving yourself. Your fear of failing.
This week’s astrology wants you to take the unique combination of courage and caution and apply it to the more complicated aspects of your life. Being courageously cautious. Refusing to act on what you don’t yet know but being willingly to learn more about it. Knowing it will bring you into territory that is deeply humbling and will therefore ask you for your most honorable efforts with it.

Gemini & Gemini Rising
Obstacles are best observed. Studied. Interrogated. Researched. Put into context. Put in their place. Put into perspective.
This week asks you to make a concerted effort to understand what blocks you from feeling that you can put your potency into action. It asks you to understand your stumbling blocks. It asks you to take note of what might curb your confidence. It asks you to understand, in greater depth, what you allow to caution you when it really has no right to.
This week might also give you an important insight into the importance of some impediments. Some things stop us so that other things can take flight. Everything has its own timing. This week you might be able to see one of the reasons why an aspect of your career has taken longer than you would have wished. This week might ask you for your patience in career matters. This week might ask you for your commitment to what you know you need to get done, no matter how frustrating it temporarily is.
Listen to your peers and your friends. Those that have been where you are going. Those that help you get to where you need to go. This week gives you the opportunity to gain insights through friends that want to help. Let them do so by listening to what you would usually pass by. Scan conversations for what helps you understand the more complex aspects of life. Open yourself to the information that helps you feel more spacious in your life and less confined to futures that aren’t big enough for you.

This week makes clear the ideas that slow you down, the philosophies that get in the way of your work and the ways in which you might need to re-envision your role in the world.
What might you be misnaming in regards to your work? What might you be unable to witness? What label might be unforgiving and unable to hold the complexities of all you give?
Stop giving it power.
Mentally step out of what boxes you in. Rename yourself. Rebrand your work if need be. Renounce your ties to what does not help your work, work. Energetically expand beyond the boundaries of what you feel trapped by.
It’s OK to be peerless. It’s OK to have to go some parts of your path alone. It’s OK to not have a road map for the journey that you are on.
Tell yourself that you are allowed to find your way. Remind yourself that you are part of a long history of trailblazers. Remember that no matter how long or short the trail you are blazing may be, it’s your job to light it up.
Then see what effect that has on the quality of your work. Then see what effect that has on the energy that you are able to put into it. Then see what effect that has on your belief in what you do and the process of doing it.

Leo & Leo Rising
The weight that this week asks you to contend with is temporary. It aims to bring you into the depths of a situation. It aims to remind you that your body has needs and you need to tend to them. It aims to make clear the limits that you need to transgress and the limits that you need to respect.
Knowing the difference makes all the difference.
Don’t push yourself too hard this week. The pauses are important. Some days might refuse to flow together. Some days will ask you to sit with discomfort. Some days will remind you of how far you’ve come and how much more complexity you are able to hold space for.
This week also asks you to witness all you have and are putting out into the world. All that you are being recognized for. All that you have carved out for yourself. Take a moment to notice the direction that your work is taking. There is a lot of energy here, a lot of potential, a lot of dynamism. You have some freedom to shape it as you wish to. Keep molding it around what is most important to you. Keep shaping it into a form that feels supportive to you. Keep asking it what it needs, what it wants and how you might best serve it.

Virgo & Virgo Rising
This week might bring to light a relationship limit. This week might bring an aspect of your relationship to task. This week might bring a relationship dynamic to a decisive moment. You get to see what it is that you need from the folks that you are in commitments with. You get to say what it is you need from those that know how to listen. You get to declare what it is you don’t yet know how to ask for.
You get to be human. And messy. And willing to learn how to be a better human to those that you are closest to. You get to work on reducing harm. And impossible standards. And expectations that others will psychically know what you need. You get to create relationships that can hold the shapes, curves and complexities of healing. Through dedicated discipline. Honesty. Hard-working hope.
You get to the roots of what makes a relationship long-lasting: the participation of its participants. Come to deep conversations with the decision to see where you can meet your partners. Come at your defenses with an even greater compassion so that you feel held before you feel the need to withhold. Come to all conversations about love and intimacy with the intention to find within yourself the desire to understand, both you and them, a little better than you did before.

Libra & Libra Rising
As Venus continues its travels, it continues to bring you messages of the heart. Messages from the heart. Messages meant to move you deeper into your heart.
And reveal the hearts of those around you.
Venus’s retrograde is helping you to review the landscape of your love. It wants you to retrace a few steps. It wants you to revisit the beds that you left a mess and put things to bed that may have left you a mess. It wants you to remember that love is anything but what we expect it to be because it is meant to move us into all the unexpected places we are meant to be in deeper relationship with.
Notice what you are absorbing from others at the moment, what you are taking in and integrating into your life, what you are picking up on and in need of have better boundaries with. Notice what reflections your intimate others are offering you. Notice what you are giving them. Without reservation. At great cost to yourself. Notice the balance that your relationships need. Notice what you might need to say in order to strike that balance. Notice what you need to listen to in order to invite that balance. Notice what you need to be more courageous around cultivating in order to make your relationships places of honest insight, reflection and respite.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
This week’s astrology has obstacles. Weight. Heft. It might offer you a couple of lessons in love. It might have a halting effect on creative projects. It might leave your energy a little lagging.
But this astrology is temporary.
Chill with what you can. Pausing is perfect in this astrological climate. Some things will need a moment. Sometimes it’s better to give something a little breathing room rather than waste time breathing down its neck. Some loves will need your patience and perseverance more than they need criticism or constructive feedback. Some loves will need better boundaries and clearer criterion for the relationship. Some loves might need you to see them for what they are. And what they are not.
This week also has plans to help you heal something at work, with your work, or through your work. This week wants you to communicate your passion for what you do. This week wants to help your communications be more connective. This week wants to help you build more bridges and create more bonds through your work life and your efforts there. Be available for conversations that can help smooth out any issues at your job. Be willing to facilitate conversations that can help move your projects forward. Be proactive when it comes to presenting your ideas to those that can help them find their way in the world.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
This week might ask you to remember something from your past. It might remind you of a former limit that you had set for yourself, or one that was set for you. It might trick you into feeling like you have to stay in a certain place, with certain people or in a certain role.
Your job is to remind yourself that you are free to redefine your place in the world. You are free to carve out your life for yourself. You are free to redefine yourself for yourself, as long as you are willing to do the work necessary. As long as you are willing to work with and through the consequences. As long as you are OK separating yourself from the people and places that can’t reflect your independence as inspirational.
This week wants to help you by reminding you of the healing effects of creative pursuits. It wants to remind you of the positive affirmations that are your creations. It wants to encourage you to keep talking to the creative energy that runs through you. To keep making room for the energy to animate you. To keep opening up to the places that it wants to take you.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
This week your schedule might feel hefty. This week might drag out a little longer than you’d like. This week might leave you searching for an escape route. If the work feels endless, know that the feeling, at least, is temporary.
And telling.
You might need to spend a little extra time at home. You might feel a bit of a pull inward. You might need to gather extra branches for your nest so that rest can be restorative. You might need to listen and learn how to build a home that feels good for the heart. Keep seeking out the ways to sort your past from your present. Keep reminding yourself that you are allowed to give yourself what you didn’t get. Keep asking yourself what you need to feel safe. What you need to feel at peace. What you need to feel like you belong in your life.
Follow what has you feeling at ease internally. Sweet talk what you want to build your life upon. Lay down with what you know you need as the foundation of your life.

The healing comes from listening. The healing comes from finding a way to get across what you might not yet know how to put into words. The healing comes from letting your actions do the explaining. And the mending. And the rebuilding.
Healing is finding a way to give dignity to all parties involved no matter the conflict. No matter the desired outcome. No matter the rights and wrongs.
Healing comes from giving each day your best effort. Your sincerity. Your honesty.
Venus retrograde has been attempting to teach you about how you approach your days, how you work through the tasks that each 24 hrs presents to you and how you might better support to your daily rituals. It has been asking you to be a supportive force. To mend what has become frayed. Pisces & Pisces Rising

That you have given your best effort consistently and therefore have every right to feel proud of yourself. No matter the current shape of things. No matter the status of the situation right now.
