Mercury Stations Direct: Horoscopes for the Week of June 8th

This is a week that is loaded with potential beauty.

For one thing, Mercury stations direct this week. The days that Mercury changes direction are some of the most important ones to take note of so pay attention on Thursday, June 11th when Mercury shifts from retrograde to direct at 3:33 PM PST. Mercury will do this at 4+ degrees of Gemini. Take a look and see if this connects with any important planets or angles in your chart. Mercury changing directions will often release a vital piece of information, reveal a part of the puzzle or bring an Oprah style A-Ha! moment.

Neptune also changes direction later that same day/early the next morning. The planet of fog and fantasy, creativity and the chaos it is born from, Neptune, will station retrograde at 9+ degrees of Pisces. Check to see if you have any important planets or angles that line up with this and take note of any feelings of being untethered, anxious and/or inspired by unearthly influences.

Mars, the planet of action, passion and raw, erotic power conjoins the sun on Sunday, June 14th. This begins a new cycle for the warrior, an event that happens once every two years or so. The two powers will connect in Gemini at 23+ degrees. Again, look to see if you have any planets that are on or at an angle to this degree and meditate on how the significations of them might be in need of a recharge. Either way, use the day to consider what fear you’d most like to conquer next.

You’ve got some miles to cover and I suggest that you cover them not only bravely but consciously.

This week sets Mercury free from it’s latest retrograde cycle on Thursday, June 11th in your Third House of communication, siblings and travel. On the day (and a couple of days surrounding) that Mercury stations direct we are often privy to information that may have been withheld from us. It’s usually a day of deep meditations on the nature of straightening out the facts that we have found and why and how we may have misunderstood them.

Your Third House is also home to this week’s conjunction of the sun and your ruling planet, Mars. When the sun and Mars collide the combination asks us to invigorate future plans and asks us to the find the courage to make them so.

These events, plus next Tuesday’s super charged new moon, also in your Third House, activate your mind in multitudes of ways. You can make use of the juice and cash in on the courage that is surging through you. It’s an active time and it’s asking you to make impressive leaps forward in your thinking. Taurus & Taurus Rising

In whatever ways you wish to make it in your chosen profession, this upcoming week and the new moon on June 16th want to help you out. Big time.

So get to tilling your soil. Staying within the framework of this week (June 8th-15th), the moon is shedding her light and preparing for her annual renewal in your second house. The second house deals with what we own and how we make coin. But I’d like to view this aspect of our lives from more ancient eyes.

The earth’s.

Farming, agriculture and reaping what we have planted brings us a different understanding of how we get what we’ve got. A strawberry when grown by our own efforts holds a different flavor. One mixed with the flavor of our care. One infused with our attention, our efforts and our time.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

I’m going to honest. I’m gonna be on your ass this summer. You and I are in for a series of hefty pep talks because I want you to win this but you need to be in this. No shirking your responsibilities, not now. No being lazy at work, not now. No hiding. No slacking. No wondering if you are worth it.

I suggest that you spend a lot of time gazing at the night sky. There you will see two beautiful bodies of light meandering across the darkness.
