Here we go. Round two. Batter up. Bases loaded. Blood moon. Pink Moon. Egg moon. Fish Moon. Full moon. Libra moon.
This Saturday, April 4th will bring us a total lunar eclipse at 5:00 AM PST with the full moon peaking at 5:05 AM PST.
Eclipse seasons, such as this, act as portals of rapid growth and healing. Portals that we enter into unknowingly, innocently or altogether unwillingly, but enter into we must. Eclipses aren’t fair, they are revealing. Eclipses aren’t kind, they are honest. Eclipses aren’t subtle, they slap you across the face and in their very best Cher impersonation exclaim, “Snap out of it!” Especially this one.
On Saturday, the Sun, close to a conjunction with the Goddess of Mayhem, Uranus (exact on Monday April 6th), will oppose the moon and both will square the Diva of Destruction, Pluto (almost exact). Libra seeks justice, balance, equality and fair portions for all, but with these forces in the mix the eclipse feels like anything but a road to a harmonious happy ending.
This full moon also starts the Therevadin Buddhist New Year, the Hindu holiday of Hanuman Jayanti, the Jewish holiday of Passover and the Christian holiday of Easter. Birth, death, resurrection, reception, renewal, nirvana, freedom from bondage and leaving the narrow places of our lives for the wide open spaces of freedom are the themes of the weekend for many. Whether you belong to any of these religions or not, holiday time quite often tends to stir many a family issue, many a past pain and many a feeling of belonging and not being sure if one wants to belong and to whom.
Enter the second of two eclipses and we have a potent mix of what could be construed as a healing opportunity.
If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays or just a psychic reprieve from the eclipses, I am putting together a special Lunar Eclipse in Libra recording that will be ready to download by Tuesday night at the latest. If you need some cosmic back up this eclipse season, consider me your celestial gal pal/wing woman/back up dancer. We’ll be focusing on the fine art of relationships, balance, trust, intimacy and healing.
Always healing.
Infinite eclipse blessings,
xoc
This week is a hot spot. It starts off in between eclipses and before you know it, we are sucked through a vacuum into the vortex of Saturday’s lunar eclipse. This is no small deal for you and your clan, especially if your birthday falls within a day or two of the deal.
We can never tell what the ramifications of our actions will be and during eclipse season this is magnified and multiplied. Tread the trail that this week weaves with a great amount of consciousness. We cannot foresee what the future holds but just being extra aware of how we feel and being true to what we want to do helps things along immensely.
Especially in our intimate relationships which is where the funky light of the blood moon/lunar eclipse will be cast for you. This zone of your life is full to the brim with hopes, fears, fountains of feelings, and formidable foes.
It’s easy to turn those we love the most into those that we fear the fiercest. You might be tending to your projections more than the actual person in front of you. If so check yourself with an honest conversation and a reality check. We make monsters out of mates when we let the fear of rejection rule our thoughts.
You might be meeting the challenge of intimacy head on (as you would) but remember that this isn’t something that you can force your way through. This is a dance – delicate, divine and dangerous – because it leaves us vulnerable to the fact that if we love we can be left. And if we pretend like we don’t need love, we miss the very thing that we want the most.

Saturday’s lunar eclipse has the ability to reveal a weakness or two concerning your daily life and habits. Saturday’s blood moon has the ability to highlight some of the more harrowing aspects of your inner work both that is being done and that may need to still be tended to. Saturday’s full moon is a full on invitation to clean up both your psychic mess and the piles of paper on your desk.
It’s tending to the little things that ultimately keep us functional. And fabulous.
Simplify as much as possible. Streamline wherever you can. Still keep tending to all of the behind the scenes work that you know needs your attention.
There is a quality to this astrological time that is uprooted, unsettled, shaken and stirred. There is a sentiment that this eclipse carries that is urging you to carry less stress forward by smoothing more details out. There are ways that this eclipse reveals lingering and normally unidentifiable fears so that you may see what controls your everyday actions.
And action really is where it is at for you. With Mars and Venus both in your sign this week you have the power of attraction on your side while being able to come to terms with the power of your actions. One of your best qualities is that you have the patience to build with a steady, graceful stride. Keep that in mind if this week doesn’t end up reflecting the meticulous organization of your day planner.
Eclipses lay down the imprints for months (and years) to come. So tend to the details like they are your way in for living well and finding peace.

If you have been trying to play ball with your love life, trying to tackle some questions about your romantic relationships or trying to huddle up with your creative inspirations in order to get them out into the world, Saturday’s eclipse is about to drop kick some much needed answers your way.
Prepare yourself for some truth talk.
Eclipses create portals that magnify everything and if we don’t make a conscious effort to keep things in perspective we can end up losing the game. Most things seen through the lens of an eclipse can tend to appear more dangerous/apocalyptic/ferocious than they actually are. These babies have a way of turning our lives into a version of The Real Housewives of Dramaville right quick. But they can also have a clarifying effect helping us to see what was hidden, secret or simply not ready to be revealed to us. It’s just that there is a tendency here to respond in a way that is amped up and ready to rumble.
Especially with this next eclipse.
It’s a little jarring, a little unexpected and could be very unnerving. The things we thought were stable are no longer and the things that are essential to our well-being come sharply into focus. Friends, peers, colleagues and co-conspirators may very well be bringing up your greatest of fears. It’s kind of their cosmic job right now. Yours is to deal with the feelings and memories that are being drudged up with a great amount of gracious maturity. What you do now has lasting effects and it would be such a shame to spoil the party with a temporary temper-tantrum.

Saturday’s eclipse occurs in the part of your chart that deals with your foundations, familial ties, familiar lies, deep fears, deeper resources and everything else that lies under the earth of your life.
We cannot change the past. We cannot unmake what has made us. We cannot lie to ourselves about what happened if we want to be active participants in what is being created here and now. To awaken to the feelings that lay just beneath our surface is to be an active participant in the present moment because if we are they are much less likely to side swipe us with their magnitude. Those painful experiences of abandonment and neglect and feelings of being insignificant threaten to tear down our present if we refuse to contain them with consciousness. They also threaten to dismantle what we have been working on if we overindulge in them.
The solution lies somewhere in between.
To hold space for the prehistoric monsters of our past pain while at the same time remaining firmly rooted in the present moment is an important foundational life feature for you to put in place pronto because the other half of this eclipse is setting your career on fire. If you are in need of busting through some outdated ways of seeing yourself in the world, this is the week to reveal your goods to those that will appreciate them. If you are down to roll with the big dogs and take some well thought out risks, this is the week to bow-wow. If you are ready to reveal your raw passion and your absolute commitment to your life’s work, this is the week to put a ring on it publicly and claim your space.
Come as you are. Come with all you’ve got. But come with the understanding that everything that shows up externally is a reflection of how you deal with it internally. The shortcut to success is to deal with both, at the same time, with equal importance.

You’ve got a lot going for you. Saturday’s eclipse opens up your potential, your creativity and your capabilities in some pretty phenomenal ways. How you frame it, conceptualize it and communicate it with the rest of the world will be a part of how you are able to utilize this constructively destructive current.
No one ever broke free because they played by the rules. No community ever overcame the forces of evil because they played inside the lines laid out for them. No one ever blazed a trail by staying inside the border imposed on them and no one that ever made a difference did so with deference to an all knowing authority.
You have to buck the big guys sometimes (most times) if you want to establish yourself as an individual entity that calls their own shots. And right now you have the right amount of chutzpah mixed with equal amounts of charm and fortitude to do just that.
You can’t get mired in every little hurt feeling if your main mission is to change the shape of your outlook on life, reclaim your agency or deconstruct a false set of beliefs. But neither can you neglect your tender heart of hearts. Saturday’s blood moon is asking for balance, for diplomacy and for defiance. You have every reason to build upon all things pertinent to your career right now and to be a gracious and generous ambassador of goodwill in this domain of your life.

Get free from the debts that weigh you down. You can do this by making the agreements necessary to get them paid in a timely fashion or by paying them outright if you can but by no means should you ignore the fact that they are there. Also, debts are more than just financial. We aren’t just talking money, honey.
Debts of deed and debts of the heart are all too often swept under the rug and pushed aside. Saturday’s eclipse brings them out in full force and wants you to reckon with the fact that what you make, what you have and what you own needs to be in balance with what you spend, what you promise and what you propose.
Don’t bet the farm if you don’t own it.
Saturday’s lunar eclipse is putting pressure on all of us to liberate ourselves from the lies that hold us hostage and the shame that keeps us from fully living our lives. If you owe someone an apology, make it. If you are owed one, forgive it. If you have promised something that you have not delivered give what you’ve got and be clear about when the rest will arrive.
There is a tremendous opportunity for you to heal yourself of the hostility and resentment that you may have felt in connection to your own worth or abilities. There is nothing worse than feeling like we aren’t enough and then acting like that. Sometimes all it takes is an emotional exorcism to see another person/place/situation clearly. Sometimes we have no idea just how wrong we were about others until we see how wrong we have been about ourselves.

Saturday’s eclipse is all you. In Libra. In line. Right on time. So what’s up? What’s been simmering? What’s been bubbling? What’s about to boil over? Don’t let too much angst build up. Don’t let too much worry carry you away. Don’t let too many funky relationship dynamics drag you under.
Deal with your partners with centered clarity about what is and what is not going down in your town.
Working with astrology means that you take an active part in it. Collect the data. Take note. Working consciously with eclipses means that we stay open to receiving what they reveal. Things that we either weren’t ready to see or weren’t willing to.
Until now.
What about yourself is being revealed to you? What about your identity is being revealed to others? What needs, what desires, what demands do you have present in your relationships that you never knew you had or wanted?
This eclipse is itchy, restless, ruthless and electric. This eclipse is shocking, rocky, rambunctious and riotous. This eclipse is not here to sing you a lullaby or keep you asleep. This eclipse may be centered on your tribe but the balance point to it is to be found in those that you keep company with.
There is a shocking quality to your partnerships right now that can be altogether disruptive and disconcerting because of the fact that they are going through major changes, you are going through major changer or both. Projection runs wild this week so hold yours and try not to take the projections of others onto you personally. It’s so not about you.
This astrology is also a confluence that can bring about the kind of out-of-the-blue changes and opportunities that you need right now to next level your business in the world.

Saturday’s eclipse is urging you to take care of some business that remains behind closed doors, in private and tucked far away. You have the ability to get copious amounts of work accomplished right now (and knowing you you’ve probably been a Monday Maniac) but rather than be another overly caffeinated hamster on the wheel to nowhere, this weekend’s full moon is asking if the work that is being done is the work that actually needs doing.
Sometimes the most important task we can do is to cut loose, cut class and skip detention. Sometimes if we don’t give ourselves a break we’ll end up making such a mess of the game that we are kicked off the team entirely. There is a dynamic tension to being the honor student and the one who’s always on top of things; it requires that sometimes you deviously deny the deeds that claim prominence.
Also, why waste all your good efforts merely on discipline when Venus, goddess of love and erotic joy is in Taurus, her home of earthly pleasure, in your Seventh House of intimate affairs? Not only is Venus there but also her playmate, and your planetary ruler, Mars. What more could you ask for? Go ahead and plan your great escape with the ones that are the most fun.
It’s a temporary indulgence, you’ll get back to the grind. It’s a temporary detour, everything will still run on schedule. It’s a temporary moment of madness, much needed, much earned and trust me when I say much appreciated by all parts of yourself if done with as much good humor and good will as you can muster.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
Time to suit up and take pride in whatever it is you have accomplished thus far. It might look like a lot and feel like very little or look like nothing but feel like it’s cost you everything. Either way, trust me when I say you are right on track. Big results take time to cultivate and you are just getting going with this round of your life.
My advice is for you to use Saturday’s eclipse to carve out a little time and give some attention to being with those that feed you most. Friends and those that you can have fun with. Being with others that have common interests help to open up potential good fortune so take everyone up on the invitations that they extend. You need to get out if you are trying to get something going.
Taking creative and romantic risks are also a part of your current adventure. Are you playing it safe when you are at the drawing board? Is there someone that you could bounce your ideas off of that you could recruit or better yet is there someone in your sphere that you need to hire or consult with that is quicker and more competent than you in this area of your life?
We can’t innovate by repeating the same mistakes. Simply being willing and open to the influences of your peers this week can and will open you up to a new range of possibilities that can only come through cross-pollination.

Saturday’s eclipse reveals the truth about a business venture that you’ve been working on or better yet reveals your intention behind it. You are getting to know another level of your needs in this area of your life. The question why am I doing (this part of) what I am doing? is an important one. You don’t have to do everything that is offered to you. In fact it’s time to become a little less promiscuous and a little more prudish when it comes to spending your creative career energy.
Saturday’s eclipse could very well be a moment not only of societal- but also self-recognition for what good is all of their fanfare if you don’t have it coming from within first and foremost?
The success that emerges out of our struggle is the least fulfilling aspect of it if that is the only thing we are focused on. Winning is a momentary thrill. Getting to the top is interesting until we are there. Money is fun but it isn’t a feeling.
The only way to experience happiness, the only way to experience fulfillment, the only way to experience our success is to be mindful while it’s unfolding.
Something in your career life is blooming, sure. Something in your career life is being revealed, absolutely. Something in your career life is being exposed, magnified and maybe even celebrated, evidently. Keep connected to it. Stay tuned in to it. Work with the aspects of it that need you the most. What you plant here right now has a tremendous impact on future endeavors.

As you know we are in the middle of two eclipses, the second of which will occur this Saturday, April 4th. It’s a full moon in Libra and a total lunar eclipse/blood moon. Eclipses are no joke. They tend to reveal what is hidden, what isn’t true and what is in the way of our growth. Nothing is sacred and everything is up for reevaluation and uprooting.
Saturday’s eclipse is especially volatile/exciting. Saturday’s eclipse is especial invigorating/destabilizing. Saturday’s eclipse is especially rocky/full of unforeseen twists and turns the likes of which are here to open up the parts of your world that have grown too narrow.
It’s time to liberate your understanding of where you are in time and space. It’s time to understand just how free you are and to ask yourself what you want to do with said freedom. It’s time to take the leap of faith you know you need to in order to move beyond what you have grown too comfortable putting up with.
Instead of thinking about cutting something (or someone) off from you or out of your life consider instead the concept of simply outgrowing an un-useful dynamic. Consider who you would have to become to no longer be caught in such trivialities, drama or douchebaggery. Consider what it would be to develop so much dignity that you no longer feel the need to prove, punish or win anything but your own respect.

Saturday’s eclipse lands in an area of your chart that deals with inheritances. In celebration of such an event I invite you to look at the psychological, emotional and spiritual inheritances that you may have been passed down, both the attributes that you are well aware of and the ones you may be completely unconsciously of.
How? Prayer.
Not prayer in any religious sense (though feel free if that is your way) but a kind of meditation where you ask your higher self to reveal to your conscious mind the beliefs and the behaviors that you may not be aware of. Beliefs and behaviors that might have helped your ancestors survive but no longer help you in this moment in time.
Since the last eclipse on March 20th swam in your waters I’d say that all aspects of your identity are up for you to pay attention to: how are you showing up in the world, what part of your public identity are you working at consistently and are you developing a greater understanding of how your gifts contribute to the world? That last point is imperative. Even if you can’t see the results of your contributions just yet, it’s important that you see that your talents and passions are yours to share here on earth.
